Hey! To answer a few questions (hopefully he sees this) 1. Extra weapons DO take up your locked out weapon slots, same for the candybox (i guess because its deliberate) 2. If you want to get rid of the items on the ground and never worry about them, PICK THEM UP and select discard instead of pick up 3. The items don't normally gravitate towards you, they do so when they are out of bounds (so you can still get them) I assume inverse mode just messed with their position on tiny bridge, as they are normally on the tiny bridge itself. Chests also do the same thing when out of bounds so don't be scared to kill elites outside. Thank you for the amazing content! (No I won't talk about wicked season everyone already did)
For limit break its important to understand that the 1% Might you get on weapons is actually 1 base damage. It's important because the base damage is affected by Might. In fact all bonuses weapons get are on the weapon itself, meaning if you get +5% Area, this is then multiplied by your Area stat of the character, same for the +1 base damage being multiplied by your Might. So yes, Spinach is really good to keep on track with the enemy growth, and I agree that Duplicator is not that good, because you shoot out a ton of projectiles and almost all weapons get Amount as stat either way, hitting the maximum limit of projectiles on the screen (tied to per weapon)
And now we wait for Tyler to get the confidence to take Wicked Season right from the start and show us what limit breaking is REALLY about. Trust me, if you haven’t seen it before, you’re in for a treat. Things get pretty spicy with a few hundred (potentially a few thousand) percent extra curse

Being off the grid on the map means that it's going to be automatically generated, as opposed to being on the grid which has some variations and secrets
You should definitely try limit break no future... it gets very insane with massive sizes, although it definitely is very flashy Edit: it's very weird that no future limit break wasn't too great, because I did get it to be insanely broken with killing the ring elites in about 5 seconds
What he said was that he did try no future but it was so easy that it was uninteresting... if everything was just vaporised instantly like for you i guess that makes sense. It's better to see your enemy when your job is to comment about them 😅
I remember doing a limit break run with a secret character that gains 2% growth every level once. Ended up reaching like level 2000 or something absurd like that, and the weapon had been limit broken so many times that most of the upgrades were completely maxed out, leaving might as the only option
Btw you can clip through walls if there's a lot going on at once, and your character's speed is fast enough, if you hug the wall and keep moving towards it. You probably could've gotten the red gem :)
For the projectiles that escape the walls, it's similar to the collision detection with spike factory in BTD6 when the bloons are too fast. It skips the walls.

Just so you know for future limit break vids, there are limits to the amount of projectiles wa ch weapon can have on the screen which is pretty easily reached with limit break. So picking upgrades that give plus 1 amount won’t infinitely scale. Once you reach the point where the weapon is constantly firing, upgrades like duration, cooldown, and amount won’t necessarily have any positive effect.
Ok, I'll give you a hint. There is one super weapon you haven't unlocked yet. You have everything to get it, you just haven't gotten the combination right yet.
Ironically that character released before the DLC. Would however probably be a fun video. There are also definitely more DLC weapons that are pretty new and fun.

Tyler, whenever you try out no future limit break you should get the runetracer freezing arcana and the one that makes frozen enemies explode, its like a "time" symbol. That combo does more damage than no future itself
Fun fact: Those projectiles that are escaping are moving so fast that when they try to check for collision on a per frame basis, the sheer speed they move at means in that in one frame the fully clear the wall and never actually touch it
The arcana you took works like this: Every few seconds, the icon on the bottom changes, each icon it shows gets buffed more while it's up. Every level you gain gives you +1% to ALL attributes it shows (You figured it out at 15:00 anyways but I already typed this up)
For the arcana that increases curse, growth, greed, and luck, the symbol below the character is the stat that is current being doubles. The doubling ends when the bar ends. All of the stats increase every other level.
im pretty sure the part about that ogre having to do with roaring thunder is a reference to enel (one piece) who also has those drums on his back and controls lightning
Without giving TOO much about it away, essentially you summon large objects that bounce around between enemies and have gravity (kinda like axe but not really). It’s a pretty fun weapon, hopefully he decides to show it off (or if you want to watch it before Tyler gets around to that character, the weapon is called La Robba (not the evolved santa water, I promise this is something different)
tyler, one really cool thing you can do is go divano (guy that starts with laurel) and be a complete maniac go heart of fire arcana first (so you can kill enemies) take armor*, hollow heart*, empty tome, spinach, crown and wings* edit: pumarolla will make it way easyer for the early game but its unnecessary if you head to the left medallion once you got wings (and if you have luck odds heart of fire will destroy light sources for floor chicken) *you will NEEED those, the other are just the better ones for the build imo your second relic should be divine bloodline your last, either mad groove (if you feel you wont be able to reach the medallions to evolve laurel) or silent old sanctuary (lesscd on laurel charges and more might for heart of fire) beware of the medallions guardians, as they will kill you, you need wings to outrun them until you can upgrade laurel
Btw the runetracer projectiles are probably flying off the screen because the game is using discrete collision checks, meaning that every frame, it checks if the projectile would collide with anything the next frame and if yes, collision-based code would be executed (this makes sense because discrete is the least resource-heavy type of check, and with hundereds of projectiles performance is important). This means that if the projectiles were fast enough (which they absolutely were), then they would pass the wall inbetween frames and the collision detection would not notice it.
I suggest you using 1 weapon, lightning ring, candelabrador, torrona's box, empty tome, and spinach with the new blue character you just unlocked. It gets really fun how much that build scales as you stack area % with the upgraded lightning ring. Daily plant has both candelabrador and wings (cuz you may need them, the character is pretty slow) on the map, that's the best place to try it out
Tyler btw the reason the runetracers are clipping out is because they are too fast, literally. It has to do with how games handle very fast things. If things are too fast in video games that can't handle very fast things, if they move more than the height/width of a certain hitbox, they may pass through it depending on their current position. The runetracers doing it is an example of that
Btw if you stand still and let the gems stack into a red gem you will lvl up faster. Depending on the buffs and mode you are at you can stack it for about 10 minutes and get around 80 lvls at once. (Considering amount 1 to 80) if you keep stacking you cam get even more.
As someone with 1600+ hrs in this game it's fun to watch someone who has almost no clue playing as they discover things in it. I can't wait for the next DLC dropping on the 13th it's going to be another large map with new characters, weapons, evolutions and enemies all for $1.99 just like last time. This is hands down the best cheap game I've ever bought/played and it punches way above it's price point...
I'll bet a dollar the reason some of them get out is because they're traveling so far in one frame that they're on the other side before collision is checked again. My other idea is you shot so many that it overwhelmed the number of projectiles that the game can check collision on at a time.
There is a frequency that each limit break upgrade shows up, Amount sees to be rare while I will almost always see Area and Speed show up. So it’s a bad idea to do random always if you want your limit break to go a certain way.
I wish there was a way to set Auto Priority on Limit Breaks rather than just "Random Always." They get annoying to have to pick every few seconds but when you're trying for something specific you kinda have to. Would be cool if you could open a little menu that let you choose like "Always take Amount 1st, then Might, then Speed, then Area"
Honestly, I would take the wand as well, it acts like a point defense gun always targeting the closest enemy. My Poe Ratchett has a huge number of eggs on it and once I get the wand, it's like having a machine gun. XD
Pool limits ma dude, only so many of a given weapon can be spawned at a time, for rune tracer its 25. with enough duration amount does nothing. For no future aside from the explosions having a better time killing stuff off the bridge it has a pool limit of 40 so scales way way better. wicked season grows all 4 every 2 levels. the timed icon under you is the stat thats doubled, the season.
Tyler, you should definitely finish the DLC unlocks (or at least get the next character), they have a really interesting mechanic that you might have fun with for some of these runs. (And I still think running them with pentagram on a hyper map is something you should try at least once.)

A few things, 1) wicked season doubles whatever is shown and you gain 1% of everything every 2 levels. The strat is to wait until crown to gain levels and start fights with tough enemies. 2) There's a projectile limit for each weapon. Let's say that you're playing knives. There's a limit to the amount of knives you can have on screen. For projectile weapons, if there's a chance that you could hit this limit either a) don't go for duration or b) go for projectile speed (there's a chance that at some points you literally couldn't fire anymore rune tracers because you were at the limit) 3) 8:30 showed why this map isn't the best for runetracer. Yes, you're protected, but you cannot defend every possible attack vector. Look at this moment 10:11 and notice all the enemies that are impossible to hit. These enemies are coming straight at you and runetracer has to freeze or kill these enemies instantly. What happens when that fails? you die. Ironically Gallo tower would be a better map because you could hit all the enemies and of course there's library too if you don't want to explore new maps with this character.
Only certain enemies scale with your level. Most don’t actually change. You can check which one do by whether or not they have a skill in the bestiary that say they have “no x level.” The one that don’t have that skill maintain the same health through the whole game.
Tyler completely misunderstanding what he reads once again... What you see under your character is what is currently being doubled. So if it's the skull, that means your curse value is currently being doubled (which you can easily tell because all the enemies suddenly move faster and have more health and such). On every 2nd level up, all the 4 stats will grow. The timing of the level up doesn't matter at all. But well, he seems to get it at the very end... probably...hopefully...
There's a secret character who "loses control" with levels, play them on hyper mode in the moon spell map Edit: there's no real secret to the combination or anything, but the resulting interaction is really funny once you get to a high level

wicked season increases all 4 stats every level, its just that it might not be enough to make a visible difference when rounded
To add onto this the symbol under you is the symbol that is *currently* doubled but every symbol increases every two levels

The lighning ring was moving because the inverse setting caused it to spawn outside the map and it was trying to get back onto the map.

There's a secret character who "loses control" with levels, play them on hyper mode in the moon spell map
Edit: there's no real secret to the combination or anything, but the resulting interaction is really funny once you get to a high level
I'm pretty sure the reason some of your projectiles clipped out of the bridge is because you gave then so much speed
Lightning ring is a hard one to solo limit break, I was only able to do it with duo lightning + garlic or lightning + healing sword
So the fixed intervals thing. During the timer that stat is doubled. And every 2 levels each stat gains 1%

Just in case anyone was considering getting this game, neither this map or the unlocked character are part of the dlc. They are both in the base game.
