Hey! isn't this also the main theme of a famous Handel's harpsichord sonata in Bflat? Handel is such a genious when it comes to reuse a previous music in a whole new situation. Very beautiful music! Thanks for sharing
No suena nada parecido a Vivaldi.

Superlative, superlative, superlative, superlative... superlative... I can't think of any to describe this music, and it's not that I don't have a good vocabulary, it's just this music is beyond superlatives,
This doesn't sound like Vivaldi at all. It only looks similar in that it has 3 Venetian-style movements, but only that. The difference between the style of Handel and Vivaldi is the writing of the "continuo bass" in their works. Handel has the germanic heritage and of the Corelli and Alessandro Scarlatti school, contrapuntal basso continuo. Vivaldi's "basso continuo" writing is always monotonous and repetitive, a simple accompaniment in most of his works, anticipating the galant style.
This doesnt sound like Vivaldi as some say here. Vivaldi's bass line is monotonous and repetitive in most of his works...Handel is more exuberant and contrapuntal, like this Sinfonia (germanic influence)

@@ruperttmls7985 Yes, a theme used before his time in Italy yet it is not too far from the sound world of Vivaldi.

!
@AsianGuyInJeans I was just going to say the same. To my ear this sounds so much more like Vivaldi than Handel.
This it a Concerto Grosso of Michele Mascitti, op. VII.
Imagining a contentious bicycle race montage.
Morgenstemning i storbyen. Sådan er det.........

It sounds very "Venetian"
Yes. The opening movement was composed in 1708 during Handels' "Italian" days. The present concerto was not compiled until 1722. BRIAN

more like bassoon continuo than solo piece
At least a bit of Vivaldi rubbed off on him.
