Thank you all so much for watching! I hope everyone's doing well! ❤️ I wanted to mention something in case you try this technique. At the end of the video, you'll see me cutting the soap I entered for the challenge. You'll probably notice there's some shimmy in the end bars but none at all in the bars from the very middle of the loaf. When pouring that soap, I basically moved my cups too fast in the middle and slowed down on the ends (ended up with more soap on the ends of the mold with each pour). I did this a little in the video pour, too, but I evened it out before it went too far. 😊
Both soaps are beautiful! I agree. The Soap Challenge Club is just one of the best groups. It’s full of some of the kindest soapers. Thanks for sharing 😍
Holly you are good at explaining things! We love your videos and soap too. The soaping community can be so refreshing- honestly. I love making soap. It’s my happy place. And when I can’t soap- I watch videos of others making soap. 😂😂😂
Holly, another truly beautiful video and soap, it is always such a delight when a new video from you pops up on my feed, everything about your videos is just amazing. Thank you so much for the mention of my 'trace' video, that was a lovely unexpected surprise :-)
Oh, thank you so much, Lisa! Thank you for making such a helpful video on trace. I get so many questions about it, and you provided such a perfect explanation and demonstration in your video, as always. :)
Amazing Holly. Another beautiful soap. Great job! And I agree, i look forward to your videos they are perfect and i could listen to your voice all day. Thank you 🥰 🇦🇺
Wow 🤩 another great technique, and another stunning soap. You are one talented soap artisan. Your videos are inspiring. Thank you for sharing your craft and skill set.
I had such a down day and came back to watch your videos just to feel better and after listening to you and watching you pour, I feel as right as rain. Thank you for the link on trace...I am blending too far and am not able to make elegant swirls...so afraid of not emulsifying properly 😅
Beautiful! I’ve wanted to make a Tall & Skinny Shimmy soap for a while now but didn’t have a tall & skinny mold. Thank you for the hack!! I’m going to try that next time I make soap. Hope all is well with you and your family!
Hi Holly, This technique is beautiful and cool! I really like these colors too. I have to try this technique. I made my 1st batch of goat milk soap with 100% milk and I really enjoyed making it, I can't wait until its cured to try 😫 lol. I also made a triple milk soap using powdered milks, I am waiting for those to cure too. I hope you're doing well and can't wait for your next video. 😊💞
Bonsoir Holly de France de trés belle versions de cette technique dommage que je ne trouve pas d'indigo qui colore Merci Hello Holly from France, very nice versions of this technique. Too bad I can't find any indigo that colors. Thank you
This mold is actually 10 x 2.5 x 3.75" in size (from Kiwi & Company on Etsy). However, for this technique, I needed a super skinny mold, so I added cardboard on the sides before lining it to make it 10 x 2 x 3.75". In case you're interested, if you go to 08:40 in the video, you can see a quick shot of it. Hope this helps!
This technique has been done for years if you created this it sure wasn’t on RUclips. I learned this technique over five years ago from some of the veterans on here. You’re so gay come out nice but I don’t know about you creating it.
In the video, I clearly said Tatiana Serko taught this technique to us in the Soap Challenge Club. I never said I created the technique. I did post another skinny shimmy video 5 years ago, so it's possible you saw mine then. Thanks for watching!
Thank you all so much for watching! I hope everyone's doing well! ❤️

Stunning! Did you wait at all between pours before turning the tilt to the other side?
Thank you! No, I didn't wait. As soon as I got the mold turned around and tilted, I poured immediately.

what the dimensions of your soap mold? I am looking at a couple that are described as "tall and skinny", but just wanting to compare. Thank you!

So pretty!
Thank you! 😊

Holly do you sell soap as well or you like to enter the challenges only? I am in ore, I just love to watch your work..
Thank you so much! I used to sell, but now I just make enough to give to my family and friends and donate.
Where did the white come from, I thought you only used 2 colors?
