@@stevenbarkus2442This team is exciting to watch, but they are young, very young. Now they've had success against some good teams but the best in the league they have had some struggles. New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, etc. They held the Phillies to low scores but their bats went quiet. They have some really good potential though.
Also Ortiz and Perkins have been playing some absolutely insane defense this year as well. It seems that Perkins and Ortiz both hit this hot streak about the same time and they haven't let up. Perkins robbing homeruns, making some incredible diving catches, throwing runners out. Joey Ortiz has also been very good at 3rd base. Exceptional glove work, great throws, and good speed. Add Brice Turang, and having Rhys Hoskins back has been an added plus. Also Christian Yelich's return to his consistent .300+ average has really helped along with his great speed and base running abilities! Everyone has been playing exceptionally good this season. Almost all of them have who played last year have either surpassed some of their statistics, or have really upped their levels. This has been so fun to watch.
@@chroma8708You both are so so lucky! It's been a long time since I've been able to attend a Brewers game. My health has deteriorated quite a bit over the last few years and I am now disabled. I either use a cane or a walker to walk. I'd probably need a 🦽♿wheelchair♿🦽 or a "scooter" if I wanted to go to a game now. I used to go to games with my Mom and Dad back in the 70's and 80's. My Mom passed away in the mid 90's of emphysema, and my Dad lost his fight with cancer in 96. I now have the same illness that took my Mom's life. I took care of them for 10 years. We loved going to games or even watching the Brewers and the Packers on 📺TV📺. Being disabled is really hard for me, and needing to have someone either push me in a chair or try to maneuver a scooter though the fans at Miller....oops American Family Field, would be hard and yes even self conscious. It is what it is. Life isn't easy, and everything you do, have done, has a reaction, whether good or bad. I miss a lot of things, but I am still thankful for what I do have. I may be a bit envious, I know you're going to have a blast. I'd really like to hear or read about your experience there if you don't mind. I've never been to Detroit. I've been lucky enough to have seen the 🐯🐅Detroit🐯Tigers🐅🐯 at Milwaukee County Stadium during the 70's and 80's. Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker, Mark "the Bird" Fidrych, Jack Morris, later Cecil Fielder, and other great players the Tigers had back then. They have one of my favorite players from last years Brewers team, Mark Canha. Take care and again I hope that you have a great time at the game. Go Brewers Go!
Contrares for sure. Hopefully Turang. Yelich has a possibility but would need to get hotter. I don't see Ortiz making it due to being too unknown. Hudson deserves it but I'd be stunned to see another Brewers non closer relief pitcher make the all star game this year
Wow! Blake Perkins has been on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥fire!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 3-4, 3 runs scored, 2 Triples! Brice Turang 4-5, a Double, 2 RBI's! Yelich's return has been awesome. 3-3, another SB, actually a double steal and a run from it. And another really 🔥🔥HOT🔥🔥 hitter, Joey Ortiz, 2-5, 2 RBI's! And how about 8 Innings of One hit ⚾️Baseball⚾️ by Tobias? Yes they had a minor slump against the Phillies. They bounced back with a vengeance! The last couple of years that Phillies slump could have turned into a bigger and longer slump, but these young guys have been able to fire back. When you have a batting order where you have your number 8 and 9 hitters cracking 3-4 RBI's, 2-5 hits? Not only that, but Blake Perkins has been absolutely amazing on defense! Robbing Honeruns, making diving catches, and great throws. Joey Ortiz has also been incredible on defense. Actually for the most part this entire team has been showing some Gold Glove work all season! And for a decimated Pitching staff? They've been playing fairly well. Our main closer has been out all year. Brandon Woodruff obviously is out, and we've lost some other key pitchers as well. Yet they've been able to stay on track. I give this new manager a LOT of credit! Pat Murphy has taken one of the youngest teams in ⚾️baseball⚾️, rookies, minor leaguers, and some cast off pitchers and he's given them the confidence to win. It's been a wild season!
Back in the day, that would have been the call. Given the lack of healthy pitchers, and a 10 run lead, the smart call is to save him and let a closer do his work.
Complete Games are a thing of the past. I remember back in the 70's pitchers had 15 complete games, even more. But as another commenter said, a 10 run lead, pitchers injuries hitting everywhere and everyone, they have to be careful. Although I agree with you. A 1-hitter? Let him finish it! If he gives up a hit, then pull him.

They are a very young team. I was extremely critical of the Brewers front office. Trading Josh Hader during a playoff run? Really? Then dumping a Cy-Young winning pitcher? Ugh! However I now see these players that we got for them. Joey Ortiz, he's been phenomenal! Robert Gasser, also phenomenal! They'll have ups and downs. Experience will help them. Again they've been decimated by injuries. It figures the pitching staff too. Starters and the close Williams out. If they can get 100%, then I also think they'll begin to match up much better with teams like the Phillies and Yankees.
The Brewers win big with some help from new faces in the bullpen. Check out more on our bullpen here: ruclips.net/p/PLVKeNFyNQoFtAyDYwy6fuZqNkSGKPdpva
When your nine hitter is Blake Perkins you know your offense is pretty loaded. Such a fun squad to watch this year
As soon as they have a healthy pitching staff, these guys will be unstoppable.
Got swept by Phil

Let's keep those hits alive for tomorrow's game. I'll be there supporting my crew!
I’ll be there Sunday!

We have at least 5 all stars on this team right now
Did you watch the Phillies series? Looked to me they did have any All-stars
@@robertsteeno6106Were those the only three games you watched all year?
Ideally Yeli, William, Ortiz, Turang, and Hudson all get the nod but I bet there will be a snub or two

@@thomastime8511 Not a lot of good NL OFers out there. Yelich should get a nod. As should Ortiz, the best offensive 3B in NL.
Great bounce back win

Lets go Brewers!
Back to W column, let's go crew!!
Meyers allowed one hit. He picked off the one hit. Nice.
Brewers toolk that philly sweep frustration out in the D tonight
LET'S GO BREWERS 👏 👏👏👏👏
Every game has got its heroes 😂
Should’ve let my boy get his 1-hitter

My Brew Crew does it again
Brew crew way to go
Joey! Joey!
It would be nice if for once, the Brewers could make it past the playoffs and get into the world series.
Ok that tigers logo at the bottom is clean as fuck and I’m a brewer fan
Yo can you guys chill with the ads? Its always the sports channels too, like you guys dont have enough money

Where was this against the Phillies?
Why didn't they score some of these runs in Philadelphia??😅
At least Detroit uniforms are cool. That's about all they got going for them.
You know when you’re a tigers fan when you lose 10-0 and give your team a standing OH
So all the Philly runs were hiding in Detroit, at least they found them
That positional player who pitched, that was so sad.
Tobias. Myers. Is. Him
What happened to this offense against Phil
Where was brewers offense after stupid phils
Jesus loves you God bless
Peralta sucks. Can never get through even 5 innings ever without 100 pitches
Are they pretenders or contenders?
