3:20 list of s3 buckets to be used 3:57 inside one of the bucket 6:27 grant permission 6:37 where does this AWS_LF_WORKFLOW_ROLE come from? 7:55 incremental blueprint I have created AWS_LF_WORKFLOW_ROLE role for LakeFormation service, it's not listed in blueprint workflow IAM role.
This is very awsome! It was deep and yet very clear explanation. Thanks for the great presentation! Would you be able to share the scripts and data models being used in the demo?
Look in the AWS Lake Formation Documentation. Theres a section called "Lake Formation Personas and IAM Permissions Reference", this has a "Workflow Role Permissions" section which describes the IAM Policies to use. docs.aws.amazon.com/lake-formation/latest/dg/permissions-reference.html#persona-workflow-role
The missing steps like what permission need to provide to IAM role "AWS_LF_WORKFLOW_ROLE", any permission need to provide in data location, DB connection, Endpoints and which database you have used like postgres, mysql etc. Also, you have not completed your demo as you have not reviewed your blueprint after complete so how to verify the delta is coming or not?

Thanks, Siddhesh!😀 Glad you found it useful!🙌
Could you kindly provide us the description of IAM role, LF_WORKFLOW_Role
Very clean and precise. Learnt a lot from this video on lake formation
Great presentation! Very well done and super useful! Thank you!
Thanks! Great explanation! Any news regarding the integration of Lake Formation with Athena for Iceberg Tables. Is it on the roadmap?
May I know the plug-in which you use for switching different AWS users in the same browser?
It is not a plug-in, it is Firefox's container feature
I have a doubt. What permissions you have given in IAM Role: AWS_LF_WORKFLOW_ROLE?

Very informative
This is Brilliant!!
very good!
Why would you create a data lake if your data is already well stored in a RDB?
when you need to integrate it with data from another db.. and another, and 100 others. And then share it to different business units.
tks you so much.
good
Quite chaotic, I see Athena , Glue, S3 and where is that Lake Formation?
first
