Where's the fun in just following cookie-cutter builds? Even if a build cannot push to as high of a Pit rank compared to another, that doesn't mean it can't be viable! Plus, I do think there is high potential in this one! Let me know what you think!
@@cry_now_laugh_later That is a good point! To each their own! But in a game like this, "winning" is pretty subjective as well! I'm happy to be able to do Tormented bosses as well as Tier 7 Infernal Hordes comfortably, and feel rewarded for somewhat coming up with my own build rather than following something super cookie-cutter!
Well, I was sporting a similar build the other day, and my buddy was very impressed with all the spectacle of all that lightning flying around. Yeah, cannot do hordes T6 but personnaly I don't care so much :) It works and I'm having a fun time, might get stronger with some uber unique, need to find one ^^
I did T7 alone just yesterday but the bosses took me like 10 minutes xd Technically I wasnt alone cuz i had 3 teammates but they died one shot the whole run and i basically solo carried it, but yeah... boss dmg is lacking
Nice. This build is an evolution of season one for me as well. I still haven't made it to level 100 this season. I have been running 3 hydra fror mana and haven't yet got around to trying out overfrlowing energy. I think we have been thinking pretty similary based upon your build and what I have tried or intend to try.
Yeah! I tried the 3 hydra route. Eventually I found that casting the hydras would sometimes make my mana pool take too much of a hit and, if I have chain lightnings out, cause them to fizzle. I have since seen more success with the Lighting Spears + Ice Blades!
I was considering trying a Spark/Overflowing Energy Spear build but I likw the idea of Chain Lightning much better. My big concern is Axial Conduit having a nwgative impact while im spamming Chain Lightning while Unstable Currents is up...all my Chain Lightnings are gonna fizzle out. What is the cure for that? The build would be too weak wothout Axial Conduit right?
Great question, yeah the build might be too weak without Axial Conduit. What you'll want to have is not only + max mana in your paragon board, the affix: "lucky hit: chance to restore % primary resource" on your weapon(s) (and I think you can even temper it on your rings if you really need), recharging aspect, elixir or resourcefulness II helps too (resource cost reduction and +max mana), and lastly try to get a Fists of Fate with a good lucky hit chance because that'll allow you to much more easily proc all of that aforementioned stuff! Good luck! I'm about to put out a new video though, I've been using Andariel's Visage now and with the Starlight aspect (since Andariel's has life on but) I basically have infinite mana!

@@tasandmnm69 Might work if you're able to generate a ton of crackling energies? Plus I suppose there's also some stuff that buffs basic attacks, like that new sword that changes them to make them consume resource but deal more damage...!
I'm using chain lightning without axial, and using frozen orb for enchantment works pretty well since I cast more chain lightning vs axial.. I'll try some not 100 yet, Question is what is better crit or vulnerable damage? Thank you!
I think if you are able to generate a lot of lightning spears and are using splintering aspect, Crit damage is probably a bit better! But I also wouldn't be too bothered if tempering gives you vulnerable damage. But if you're running Fractured winterglass, then I think try to go all Crit damage.
Im running heat lvl 6 so every second I get 40 mana back from this healing aspect, so basically invinite mana with the uber ring, so I get many procs from axial when u just face tank everything, its a lot of dmg with the spear spawning as well, so stack attack speed crit dmg and obliterate waves my friend
I actually think it's pretty good! But I'm already running the lightning spear enhancement that stuns, so that on its own should be enough! However, I've actually now (after getting andariels) transitioned out of lightning spear, and taken one point in shocking impact!
Hello, so I take it that the lightning spear enchant works both with the new aspect of splintering energy AND the lightning spear temper to cast twice??? Someone please confirm or deny.
What if we use the fracture witnterglass and use the frozen enchanment ? I think with a lot of lucky hit chance from the fist of fate its could work for this hybrid build
What would everyone say is good damage out put for Frozen Orb Lightening Spear? I just messed with my build so i was doing 17 mil at the highest. It wasn't every hit, but most hits were 500k-2mil. Im hoping to get to the 5mil a hit. Also i was able to do a T8 horde Solo, Im really Tanky, DPS was good but not great.
@@lonmeasley752 Like T7 is not any issue, but T8 takes a bit longer which sucks. I almost have everything maxed masterworked. So im not sure if i can get my damage so much better
My level 75 barb got wrecked in tier 3 infernal. But I be killing them faster than this video . Plus I one shot everything with tornados in tier 2…… but I’m hardcore waaaaaaahhh.

The only thing I hate is you need to find the gear I'm a lvl 80 and still looking for a fractured winter glass

also u get chain lightning skill points from axial so I hardly recommend it
Is shocking impact not worth? Especialy with how often stuns are going off

That's a good question...I actually don't think it does! I've adjusted my maxroll planners accordingly...! And will do a follow up video soon!
