As jokester, I draw the line at touching or within striking distance. It's not funny anymore. That might be why the background guards are alert.
The snake thing can be funny. A similar reaction might work 10 ft. upstage.
Probably a good thing I'm not a performer, agent, or a wannabe.
To me, stage hypnosis can be very entertaining. Please don't use their phobias.
