Hello do I need to remove all of it like this I just want to change the battery?

No you just need to take off the screen and unscrew rhe bracket thats holding in the battery connector and use some isopropyl acohool to soften up the glue or you could just pry up on the battery until it comes off but its not somwthing you ahould really do so just use some alchool and place in a battery and do every step but backwards and you have a new battery
