I'm impressed that Uncle Roger immediately zoned in on the romantic entanglements from the first episode. It took me a few episodes to figure out who was into whom but he's spot on. Maybe there's a future for him in "uncle" matchmaking. I also want to defend the cooking segment - they were given limited ingredients so they had to make do but Uncle Roger correctly identified that Han Bin is actually a professional chef (and underrated imho).
I've watched all episodes of Single's Inferno and it's only just occurred to me how weird it is that they have to collect water from far when there is a working tap in the kitchen lol
The tap water is actually from a tank and it was only meant for washing, not drinking. There's no actual plumbing and the used water was collected in a bucket under the sink which would then be discarded. Clean drinking water was placed at a far off location to encourage couples to take long walks while doing chores and allow them privacy to socialize away from the big group.
I was surprised at how accurate his analysis of the food results were, especially since it's hard to tell with such short video the results of flipping Pajeon too early. Aside from uncle Roger's hilarious humor, I could tell that he has a deep appreciation for Korean food also.
I like the gaping plot hole of them having to get water from far away while the others are happily peeling and cleaning the radishes under running water from faucets. I also like how the two guys then make the girl carry the water back on her own, while they are joking around walking behind her all chillaxed like two true gentlemen.
