Lanon Baccam to face Zach Nunn in November election

Lanon Baccam will take on Zach Nunn for his seat in Congress this November after defeating Melissa Vine in Iowa’s Third Congressional District.
The Associated Press declared him the winner shortly after the polls closed Tuesday. The Mount Pleasant native is a combat veteran and served in the USDA under former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack.
