The Green is Chinese traveling from Kunming, China to Vientiane, Laos daily. And in contrast, LCR's train is Red and White color traveling from Vientiane, Laos to China daily. One from each side for crossing border trains everyday.

Last year it was Laos high-speed rail, but this year the fastest high-speed rail in Southeast Asia is Indonesia's.The speed is 350km/h, which is also made in China.

This might be a late message, about travelling to China, if you both are French citizen, China now is visa-free to you, wish they could offer this to US citizen as well, not likely but I wish.
