Thank you! This video and your video on glazes is going to be of tremendous help to me as I attempt to once again paint bone-colored space marine armor. I was missing the smooth transitions which the glazing helps achieve. Thank you also for showing how to paint bone with grey. As I have looked at beige or off-white vehicles on the road, I have studied the light and shadow on panels. I have always noticed that the shadows look more grey than brown. I haven't found anyone else who has used grey to paint bone until I saw your video. Thank you once again!!!
Awesome! Gonna try this next time I paint bone. I use army painter so I'll have to do some conversions but this seems only slightly more steps but better control/contrast compared to my usual Prime --> Basecoat skeleton bone --> strongtone wash --> highlight skeleton bone --> draketooth or skeleton bone+white . I also really want to try using glazing to blend highlights and shadows more. Up to this point I use glazes in layering but haven't done much overall blending with them.
Hi there! Great video! A small question, can you explain your brush strokes a little? I noticed on both the highlighting and glazing sections you are brushing upwards or sideways, never down. Is this to help with the effect or just because of the angle of the skull? Thanks!
how did u fixate the skulls unto the container? I am about to color my skulls and I am not sure what set up to use. The citadel handles wont help much. Thanks in advance
As a fellow blind fella: how comfortable are those visors? Is there ever an issue with the distance of the magnefiers and your eyes? I figured the fixed distance can be an issue for some eyesigths
the distance isn't fixed, you can tilt the lenses to change the distance at which they will focus :) You can get them on Amazon and if you really hate them just refund them, I think they're worth a try
Loved the chocolate brown base coat one. Has a realistic feel to me great work

Yes! Also it's always better to brush sideways if you want a clean stroke

I superglued them on top of a pot so I can easily remove them after painting
