Sadly, they do allow people to ride those elephants in Phangan. I felt torn by feeding them, seeing them chained, but I also feel if tourists don't feed them they will suffer more.
I know, I even said that, but imagine though if they would be wild and roam freely on such a small island, they would be dangerous for the locals… so every elephant in Thailand has a keeper
@@YasminesJourney Yes but they should be transferred to their natural habitat and freed, they were transported to that island for tourist purposes, purely to bring money in, either way it's cruel being chained and that is not true every elephant in Thailand does not have a keeper.

Are there any dangerous wild animals within those forests? How safe was your climb up there?
I actually have no idea!:)) I knew it was a popular climb so I didn’t worry about that
there are monkeys on the other side of the island and snakes all over the island. Vipers, Cobras and Pythons and more.
@@BasilFawlty677oh ok thanks, that’s good to know 😅

How much do you pay for the scooter?
Around 7 euros!
How nice feeding the elephants!
It's not nice when they are chained up
You should really not pay to feed elephants that are CHAINED it's very cruel they need to roam free.
