For Jojoba-oil expect 45% oil yield related to the weight of the seed put in and 10 or more % left in the press-cake - then you have a really good press.
How viable is it to have a home set up for extraction? I live in the Arizona desert and have an enormous amount of Jojoba bushes in my yard, as well as at least 6-7 saplings sprouting up, and I would like to put this stuff to use.

@xhen12 Yes it is. The meal and the oil in our press does not exceed 130°F (54°C). At this temperature, all the nutrients are perfectly preserved.
