Portable Storm Shelter
Bothy’s are extremely warm, an absolute must have in the Scottish Cairngorms. You don’t often get the luxury of having a few minutes to erect a shelter, the weather can change instantly.
Traditionally a Bothy is a small open hut for weary travellers to use while wandering the moors and mountains, the majority are derelict now.
A nice piece of kit.
Thanks Sepp and Suzanne
Nate
Glad you like it!
Thanks for the great outing, buddy! Nice to be by the fire, hot in the sun now too!
War total schön liebe Susanne! Ich denke Dir!
Looks like a dandy piece of lightweight gear. Thanks for sharing Susanna and Sepp!!
The emergency tent bag 🎒 it's a really great idea , I got to admit I saw it being advertised at the end of last year and was wanting one , it's a good carry size (you can buy them in smaller sizes depending what brand you go with) and also light with strength and they can be used to make a stretcher for a casualty and they are a good 👍 bright colour orange so you can be spotted by search and Rescue from the ground or by air .
Good Video. 👍.
The most quick and easy built up "tent". 👍 Not bad, not bad at all and multifuntional! A clever piece of gear! Have a nice weekend, you nice and pretty people! 😉👍❤ LG
Danke gleichfalls!
Thank you Susanne 👌🏻
Hi Guys! What a great idea! I have never seen one of those before.

Very nice review. Wish it came in coyote brown? 👍
👍😀
Thank you for this introduction Susanne, I also have something like this with me on my walks. Greetings to Sepp too.
Many thanks!
You guys really should make more videos you are very likeable. I look forward to every video you guys put out.
That thing is similar to a poncho except it doesn't have a hood it has some kind of vent instead of a hood. I don't know how much that thing is but you can buy military ponchos that will do practically the same thing pretty cheap.
You can find them at military Surplus sites or even stores here in the US and they will mail them just about anywhere. Or you could get a military tarp. All you need to do is run some paracord through the loops and it would tighten around you like that thing does at the bottom.
I have bought several of them pretty cheap that had minor burns or rips in them, which did not even take a minute to sew up, and then I treated it with clear Flex Seal. And it's as waterproof as a brand new one and it's really hard to find the original damage. In fact you can only find it on the coyote brown side of the tarp not the camouflaged side.
I always carry a military poncho I have it in a little bag I made that attaches to the bottom of my haversack. I also have some tent poles that fit diagonally acrost that turns it into a tiny pop-up tent. But it's big enough for one or two people to lay under it
Many thanks and very good James! We also have military ponchos. This thing ;) is maybe more ment for hikers and rescue. All the best, Sepp also for Susanne
Servus Sepp, das Teil macht einen guten Eindruck. Aber die Farbe finde ich krass. Schade dass es keine Farbe für den Wald Einsatz gibt. Danke fürs zeigen. Gruß Sven
Danke fürs Feedback!
Hi Sepp and Suzanne. Bivvy bags are great pieces of kit and I ususally carry one. Stay safe. ATB. Nigel

😂 that's a silly thing😂
