I met a friend today, one of my oldest and longest friends ever! After I returned home, I searched for the notebook I had taken from him and it led me to our school days memories which in turn had brought me to this letter. I thought of the title, "That One Friend Life Keeps Bringing Back" for this letter. But I settled with "My Friend's Notebook". Less Dramatic but simpler and simple will do, no?
I do like these video's more where some parts are personally connected to you. It always ends up reminding me of things that I forgot over the time It's nice and nostalgic
Even I find the letters different when there is some piece of it that's directly from a personal experience or a possession. I felt good watching this after it's all done. So did my friend. Thanks for the message 🙌🏾
Before I write anything else I just wanna say, don't waste your time on It Ends With Us. It was one of the worst books I've ever read😭 (no offense if you like it). I have this bad habit of feeling restless if I don't finish a book after starting it so I read the entire thing. The story could be considered okayish but the writing style kept reminding me of the cringe wattpad fanfics written by 12 year olds. It's very overrated.😤 Also, I quite agree with you on 3:09 about some friendships being timeless. I don't think people understand that being really close friends or "best friends" does not mean replying to your messages within 0.2 seconds or sharing every minute detail of their life with you. It's being comfortable enough to read their message and not replying till you are not free, knowing that the other idiot wouldn't mind it or calling them after days or months for long talks without anything changing over the time when you weren't in touch. As someone who generally stays disconnected from others most of the time, finding people like that is such a blessing. Your letter expresses that really well.🌻 Also, please tell me your friend did not paste those clippings over his school classwork copy of that time💀💀 The visuals were really pretty, keep it up! 🧙♂️🧙♂️🧙♂️
I relate to feeling restless if I leave a book unfinished. But I assure you I felt no such thing when I stopped It Ends With Us. I could go until 80 or so pages and that’s it. No intention of going back to it 😄 “the other idiot wouldn’t mind” 😂😂😂 Spot on yes!! We need more such idiots in our lives , who wouldn’t take it to their heart if they don’t get instant replies or don’t get replies at all 🤷🏾♂️ “As someone who stays disconnected” Why so? I said I stay disconnected because I'm easily exhausted while interacting with people even if it's my closest friends. I just like to spend my days studying, reading, listening to music and watching dramas😂
