Hi Carmel thanks for the comment 😊. So excited for you! It was quite hot last September which I wasn't expecting. Maggie was so excited to see me when I got back, she always gets a bit stressed out when she sees backpacks as she knows that means we are going somewhere.
I have the same backpack so I was delighted to come across your video to see what you were taking and how you packed it. I am curious to know how much your pack weighs minus any water you will carry?
Sunscreen is quite expensive everywhere now. Since I'm flying with carry on and a small bottle wouldn't be enough the 35 days, it just made sense to buy it in Spain. I often travel to Portugal and I actually prefer the European sunscreen compared to the Canadian/Us brands.

It's great backpack, very happy with my choice. It was 18lbs plus water. I did train for two months before with the bag weighing 15-16lbs.

The 'phone holder' is a tri-pod brand pedco and the sleeping bag is a MEC Camino from Canada
