Bonewheels in vanilla never really appear in areas with actual openly falling cliffs
Fromsoft knew exactly what they were doing those bastards
Myazaki knows how to cause the most pain thats why hes in charge
Could be partially coincidence too(def intentional too), for some reason just the thought of seeing a bonewheel out in the open near cliffs feels wrong not even considering they can fall. But a cramped catacomb they look right at home
I saw the title and instantly got acid reflux
I feel like it would have been easier to use a one handed club and really good shield instead of a slow two handed club.

If you start in lordran it would still be a bitch and a half, because youd have to rely on transient curses to whack everything until you get lucky enough for a ghost blade to drop, since any baskists would be replaced by ghosts you couldnt just get cursed to whack the ghosts, atleast until you first encounter seath.

@@callofdarksouls oh ya asylum demon would be impossible. There isnt a way to get cursed or a cursed weapon in the undead asylum.

The part about the Anor Londo archers makes me realize I have not seen an all Sliver Knight archer playthrough.
On one hand every close quarter section would be parry heaven. On the other every open section would be a shooting gallery and you are the target.
It would be hard to judge how bad of a run that would be honestly.

.. Instead of just farming souls to buy titanite, to upgrade ANY weapon enough that it'd either one or two-shot them anyway (I mean you already have a zweihander but okay), you decide to climb down into BLIGHTTOWN, for a weapon..

@@callofdarksouls if youre hit enough times it explodes and deals damage to nearby enemies, not a gamechanger but it couldve gotten some of them off in the worse ganks, since bonewheels hit a lot of times for little damage

Admittedly I was hoping for more variety of bonewheels. Like different stats for the various areas, maybe some elemental bonewheels, bigger bonewheels for the bosses, etc.
Unfortunately I didn’t make the mod so there was little I could change
Love the longsword, used that weapon all the way until the 4 Kings, could beat them before others came in so I gave up and just went full Havels and Zwei to beat them 😂

That Terra theme cover when talking about Manus is so good. FFVI is the best, and Terra's theme is the best overworld theme.

The one thing I feel is missing from this is changing all of the boss names to awful bone or skeleton related puns, the worse the better.
For example:
Marrow, Bonedaddy of the Abyss
Would have been funny honestly wish I was more creative with coming up with names for the bonewheel bosses

NGL an upgraded shield (a high level Balder shield can take two bone-wheel combos on one stamina bar) combined with the Moonlight Butterfly Horn (hide behind the shield when attacking) and high defense armor (Upgraded Black Iron set would be my choice since fat-rolling reduces stamina regeneration by 20%) probably would have made some areas much easier. As for the reason you didn’t get some of the boss drops, it appears that only the ones that go directly into your inventory are still received. Any drops you still have to pick up don’t appear for some reason.
Really interesting since I could have sworn the slab the stray demon drops goes right into your inventory but I guess I was wrong

@@callofdarksouls a horizontal slash would be more effective against hordes of those mothafokas... The Fire upgrade is the easier one... Just buy titanites and the Green one is above Vamos

I just beat dark souls 1 for the first time, avenging my 15 year old self. It was fun up til bed of chaos, only ever died to taurus demon (1), sif (1), bed of chaos (24), seath (2).
Yeah bed of chaos is probably the worst designed boss in the series
@@callofdarksouls I'd do that 3 and a half minute run (2 minute run with the shortcut) just to start running toward the weakpoint and get knocked off the cliff, repeat over and over.
