This year there have only been a couple of pre-covid tourneys in those locations. I placed 2nd in Reno about 7 years ago & won $10,000 cash, but only 1st place got to go to the MM finals. (The previous year the top 2 got to go. grrr!) I have gone 2x with my Dad who came in 1st in Tahoe in 1 of the qualifiers (2008 or 2009). The finals were in Tahoe. We also went to NOLA for the MM finals in Nov. 2010. Reno had a 1x drawing for a spot in the finals & my dad's name was drawn. Lucky guy!

It is so great that you have this freedom in the USA. We have literally only shops and department stores open in Germany. I want to go back to Thailand where I usually live and practice and gamble in Macau, Malaysia, Philippines or Singapore. In Thailand you go to jail when you gamble and when it would be an old ladies bridge or an after work beer poker. The world is insane and I am glad to see that there is at least a bit of normality.
