@@boobah5643Yeah, and all he got from it was one lousy Resurrection spell. If you want to do what a cleric does, you've got a level up AS a cleric, man!
The music playing during the scene with the naked pile is entitled "The Orgy", so that's definitely the intention. I guess the mob were just spent after their exertions.
I imagine after a decadent evening of cannibalism and whatever drugs they had in prehistoric times, the cult planned to cap things off with an orgy but they were so full and stoned that they all nodded off in the middle of it.
"Jafar syndrome" Well a thing is usually associated with those who did it best or in front of the largest audience, and Jafar certainly put on a grand show to a multitude.
Then Optimus Prime's death hit the big screen and the kids and they realized if a robot dying could do that to kids what would a human dying do? So Duke goes into a coma, recovers to do the DIC sequel series, and stays part of the toyline. Unlike Optimus' dying, Duke's snake coma has not become part of every continuity he's a part of. Duke really got the better deal.
So... this is going to be wildly inappropriate to say but... this entire thing reminded me of the Nostalgia Critic's review of this very movie... followed by Conan the Destroyer. I'm not saying there the same just... well it made me feel weirdly nostalgic.
I was honestly confused when Chuck said this was his first time watching the movie at first, because I could absolutely swear he had done a review in the past. But yes, I was also thinking of Nostalgia Critic's review as it turns out.
Dammit, RUclips. You couldn't even manage to put the videos in my feed in the right order. I got the preface first, which is nice, but then the coda before the summary. Yeah, yeah, different channels, but still.
This is what happens when you get a wizard to do a cleric's job. A cleric would have easily dispatched those spirits with turn undead.
So _that's_ why Mako took those levels in monk later...

This is what happens when WoW players are exposed to actual dark fantasy, where using magic actually has consequences.
..... The booby picture caught me off guard and I can't stop laughing because I'm an immature moron.
Took me a minute to get it.

The ‘finger food’ has me weeping, always found the casual way she chowed down funny.
So THAT'S where later seasons of GI Joe stole the "Throwing snakes as spears" from!
9:15 man those cultists gave up fast for a group that had somehow talked themselves into religious cannibalism.
IT helps when Someone uses your Immortal Messias head AS a Football😉

Surprise that turkey of thanksgiving with some bite
Doom turned into a snake, but still wearing the robe, is an unintentionally hilarious visual.
he's cold-blooded! gotta hold onto what little body heat he's got...
I just realized I've never seen the original cut of this movie, only the TV edit
6:25 Well, Duke in G.I. Joe did technically die in the movie from being impaled by a snake. Originally anyway.

That broken column is coming out of Rexor's paycheck.
great trilogy, better than most not gonna lie.
Wow.... I forgot they actually used that vulture bit from one of the original Conan stories....
I just realized how similar the end of Conan is to the end of Apocalypse Now. Is there a deleted scene where someone says "Snakes don't surf"?

Don't be so...critical 😀
I miss the good old days...
