  • Did you know that the song, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," "Old MacDonald had a farm," the Alphabet Song, and "Mary had a little lamb" all share the same melody from "Ah! vous dirai-je, maman," an old song?
This is an rearrangement of that based on an audio sample of Tenma humming the melody.
Apparently it went by an older name, "La Confidence naïve," but I chose to title it based on the children's lyrical arrangement for the simplicity.
Originally, I was going to settle on the simple notes from the original melody that followed Tenma's humming and note changes, due to my struggles of following a vocal track and making a detailed music piece that supports the vocals, but listening to Mozart and his twelve variations made me feel like I'd be calling it quits when I could do better, as he was able to make several arrangements playing with the melody, yet keep the essence the same.
Albeit this final product is still plain and simple compared to what Mozart could make, it's still me pushing my boundaries to try and add little flairs to the song while not drowning out the vocalist and ruining the identity of the melody.
    So, I'm proud of it.
Not that I feel like I've learned anything; I don't think I can do this for any random piece of humming, especially original melodies, but still, it's not too bad sounding in my opinion.
