Yes the storys of the ghosts are real, but the names (mostlikely) got changed or were made up. Ive read an NS "medical report" for a testing drug against phosphor burns, Robert Alison Harris had been executed, April 21st 1992, by choking to death by gas, (finland was confirmed to be linked to an real murdere case) but the other ghost storys are mostlikely rumors or folklore. cause i found nothing!

Yes I believe all these Ghost are based off of real life ppl/crimes, when icy said there was a bunch of unsolved murders in lake Borden or whatever confirms my theory. That makes this game that much more interesting imo.

Actually I love the multiplayer horror games. Especially the distant screams from the others, usually followed by more screaming, or laughter.

Yeah. Single player horror is just horror. Multiplayer horror is peak black comedy.
Personally with the horror genre, I love the longer videos as it allows you to get more immersed in the game, well, when you're on your own that is, with the others it's a bit more comedic vs scary from a viewers view. Regardless the video lengths are entirely up to you my dude.

agreed, though i do wish there was one that didn't focus so much on the scientific and went for the supernatural and the mystical. i know a lot of people believe that the mystical and the scientific are two sides of the same coin, but the concept greatly annoys me. i hate that science is generally portrayed as stronger than magik and the supernatural, but whatever. people like what they like, and there's no changing it. in any case, I do enjoy watching videos of these games... when done by people who take it at least a little seriously instead of goofing off all the time. i still have yet to play Phasmophobia, admittedly, but I do intend to once I have a better computer... and enough friends who'd be interested. though, I do think I'd enjoy this game more. the dragging aspect is so necessary for ghost-centric games and videos, IMO. just wish it didn't look ridiculous, but that's game mechanics for ya. they're not exactly gonna knock you on the ground to have you be dragged by the ankle, after all. i digress. the point is, I too love that this "genre" is getting stronger and stronger.

Personally, as long as it isn't sub 10 minutes, I don't care if it is 30 minutes to an hour, getting to hear you banter with Icy and Drae is comedy gold.
as long as he admits they're phasmophobia clones, that's dope. i personally prefer phas, maybe because i'm amazed at how far a single dev got on their own, but also because it was so unique and has a lot of cool new updates coming out.
this, at least, has some interesting mechanics that don't seem ripped from the game and it's not a 1:1 plagiarism like some of the others. i wish the video was longer though lmao.
@@ChicagoRatHole granted you have to realize that phasmo has popularized a genre of horror games, that is paranormal investigation. People for a time will call similar games phasmo clones in the same way early fps games were all called doom clones

@@ChicagoRatHole Well, if you take in account that Phasmo devs didn't even make the assets and most of it's code was taken from an asset and code store, they just put it together like lego, so I don't think it's plagiarism to use the idea or the game features from Phasmo, since even it isn't all that original. If you take House Flipper wich came out in 2018, Phasmo, wich came out 2020, has a lot of shared assets from that game, as well as a lot of other indie games

Personally, the longer your videos are, the better. You're the only horror based YTer I watch, so it's always good to get immersed in a lengthy video. Regardless of length, I enjoy them!
I personally like the longer videos. I just can't get enough content of you playing these games, especially with ICy, Drae, Skilly, and Dixon.
Honestly the ghost games are my absolute favorite of your videos especially when Icy and Drae are in them - pure hilarious chaos! I could never get tired of them. Also about the video length, I would love longer videos but of course it's up to you! I feel like longer videos are better for horror games because it gives you more time to 'relax' again between each jump scare. Also more time in the beginning of set up, like the basic aspects of the game, and first going into the house and looking around, helps set the tone and anticipation. Would love to see a longer video of Ghost Watchers, I felt like I had no clue what was going on this entire video in terms of evidence gathering because it went so fast. lol But anyways thanks as always for your videos, they always make my day! I've been off work sick for days now and been spending the time watching you, Icy, and Drae. Always cheers me up. :)
This is by far one of the most chaotic videos you've ever put out, I love it.
The part where the Darkness ghost peaked around the corner definitely freaked out a bit. Though, it was like; “I’m gonna peak around the corner real quick- Oh hello!” LOL
This video length I think is just right for these types of games. It gives the vibes of the game without feeling like it was either cut short or drawn out.

Honestly, you're one of the only people I enjoy watching long videos on. Everyone else it gets annoying and feels dragged out, but you keep it fun. Also my favorite horror game player. You've basically become the only one I watch anymore when it comes to the genre

I feel like there are too many jumpscares in this game, although it's pretty cool that it's a lot more all over the place compared to phasmophobia, just wish also the death protection items had different ways to use them, but maybe that will be added in some update after a while, I'd imagine salt to be used to block a ghost with a line and it would use its power to break free weakening it.

I prefer like a 45 minute video, but I’d gladly take two 20 minute videos instead lol! This is my favorite RUclips channel and I just want as much content as I can get without a decline in quality. I don’t want IGP to get burnt out, I know he has a kid and everything, but if it were possible, I’d like a long video and 2 shorter ones every week! Just can’t get enough! Edit: just wanted to add that I’m grateful for any length or amount of content on here lol we love you, indie!

Idk, ghost hunting game's are more or less a genre at this point, so they're not really phasmo clones, stuff like paranormal PI thing is pretty good, but it will probably get better.

I'm actually really sad there's a lot less hype for this genre of games personally. I know they tend to have repetitive gameplay and progression so making many videos on ghost hunting games gets old but they're very immersive and atmospheric, some of my favorite stuff to watch tbh

10:34 i bet it was Näkki👀. Näkki is a Nordic mythological creature that lures in the lake and drowns u and i mean the ghost in this game kinda looks like it. Näkki is described to usually have a black long hair if i remember correctly.

About the length: I like it. It's about the amount of time I have after lunch before my lunch break finishes. That length is one of the reasons why I watch Drae almost every day
Why the new upload got taken down?
These games are not phasmo clones, it’s just that phasmo was the first of the genre. I love that there are more!! This one in particular looks really awesome. I also highly recommend the game Friki! It’s still in beta so I would wait until it’s fully released, but that one is also awesome. The Haunting also seems cool but it’s not out yet.

When it comes to the length of the video I actually don’t mind long 30 min videos, and longer they are the more I get to see of the mechanics and style of the next indie game I would like to try, yes most are multiplayer so I probably won’t even try most of them.
As much as you promote, you still entertain and compel me, and probably others, to give a thought to these games and to try them, you’re a hoot and always makes my day, ether at work or in my spare time I would watch your newest video, and if not, definitely the older videos just to help pass and enjoy the time till the next one. 😁 keep up the good work 👍✌️
