Does this also work if I bring in an already encoded dcp I exported from DVR using Kakadu? Do I need to reencode the MXFs or does this work on another level?

So, basically, even though you're testing the DCP, because the file is (KDM) different, you still don't really know if the DCP will work on a cinema projector?
You can never be 100% sure, of course, without testing on the actual projection system. Sometimes it's feasible to check that, other times you just have to do what checks you can and then hope for the best!

i click create kdm but nothing works...can you explain me why? i need one kdm for opening my dcp... i'm desperate:(

You didn't test KDM of Original DCP file.
You Create DCP file with KDM. It is a different matter🤷
