I love this movie. So innocent, fun, and sweet. I miss the 80s.
I am so glad I found this movie. I remember really enjoying it when it originally aired. Of course, I am a big Valerie fan and I pretty much loved all of her movies. This was definitely a good one. Watching these movies from the 80s always bring back memories.
I lived it... great times!
Too corny
Valerie Bertinelli will always be one of the nicest and coolest human beings in history to me. This movie is cute and very well acted and written by all involved.
I went to school with her in part of elementary school (Bailey Lake Elem) then part of Junior High (Sashabaw Jr Hi).
She was so full of herself. She was also a playground bully who terrorized me & a few other girls. When the word got out that her family was moving to California, a bunch of other students, myself included, were happy & hoping she never returned.
Her PR people portray her as a nice person, they were paid to do it, did it well.
We all made mistakes when we were young. Maybe she changed as an adult. I was also bullied in school it does have a big effect on your self-esteem. @@FreeSpirit47
Thank you so much for the movie and the high quality video ! Valerie Bertinelli is great as usual.
Aw, the short shorts, the shoulder pads! The hair! Loved itt!
Who else remembers those Short shorts, tube socks with Stripes and the sneakers with Three side stripes? LOL. If you know of and can upload more older movies or TV shows like this , it would be great! With Covid still causing isolation for Most people, movies that remind us of Happier times are Good Mental Health Solutions. Maybe we can Get our society Back to living better and simpler.
It is sure worth a try! Great plan : )
I'm for it; count me in!🍻✌🏽
I don’t think the big c, is still causing isolation for “most” people. You must live north of the Mason Dixon line.
Whatever happened to Raquet Ball!!!!
I vote for q simple life.
God bless/ thank u for this movie! Funny, heartwarming, romantic . Very good actors , especially Valerie, everyone was great! 👌👍🤣😉
The ending satisfies Kate's idea of romance on the rails, as she is fascinated by trains and the romantic view of them from old times. Valerie Bertinelli was one of the great crushes of my youth (as she was with many young guys I suppose) and she's always delightful to watch in these films.
I've always been a huge fan of Valerie B. Love all her movies .Enjoyed this movie alot.
She looks so pretty in this one ! She is an amazing actress for sure ! I am not a fan ,or any ,but I watch her movies as I know she won't disappoint me ! 🎬🎞💜🥁🐉🎤💞
A..... lot. 2 words
Ya, right? I do too,
I watched this some time ago but forgot about it but I'm really enjoying watching it again. It's very good and hilarious too.
What a cute movie! Valerie Bertinelli in her prime, and Ted Wass(from Soap). Well acted, directed, including on-location filming. Thumbs up, especially as it was a made-for-tv movie.
He also played the dad on Blossom!
Yes cute. I've been watching a lot of violent movies, needed this detox.
Really cute romantic comedy. You can’t go wrong with Valerie Bertinelli. I’m not familiar with her love interest in this movie but he was great.
How did she ever put up with him?
i'm 40 minutes in and this guy keeps getting worse n worse. He's so OCD and I hate how he just drags her round by the elbow. Just yanks her off her feet. He seems like the psycho killer type. Edit: Now she thinks she's in 'love' with him? good grief! Sickening.
Yes he played on soap .. you maybe to young or most likely not born then . I think mid to late 70s .
@@staceykersting705 lol overstimulated a bit ..lol relax a bit.. it’s a movie
@@winniejohnson5559 The sad part is, (apparently) some women still accept this crappy behavior from men. I find that disturbing. Wish we all did.
@@staceykersting705 It's a MOVIE! It is supposed to be like that in the beginning to show how much the characters change over time with each other. It sounds like you have been hurt pretty bad by someone, I'm sorry for that..........but the ending is good!
Such a beautiful movie. Enjoyed it so much. Great actors.
I'd forgotten how good Valerie B. is at comedy. Very cute movie.
So worthwhile, original, funny, nostalgic and heartwarming
and ..intelligent ,witty dialogs.!!!
So glad I found this movie 🍿 thank you for uploading it.
Loved it !!! Wish the world still be like back in those days
Had a bit of everything great movie!
I loved this movie. Men take note good women that make the best wives are more interested in your personality than what’s under the zip in your trousers !
I love Valerie, she is so talented and has always been so beautiful!
Thanks 🙏 for uploading great love story movie. I enjoyed watching this movie. Just 💕 💕 💕 💕
One of my favourites of all time;valerie bertinelli.i love her
The movie is excellent, the dressing code,so elegant
I'd say the fashion is too 'granny'. I'm 69 and never wore anything even remotely that boxy. Looks like something my own grandma might wear.
@@staceykersting705 Ohh LOLLOLLOL I get that !! Although I agree w/ the original post here ,but totally I understand why/ how you see that way !! Lol 😆 🤣 👍💜🥁🐉🎤💞
i wonder what your runner up is lol ...i am guessing "bodysnatchers' or "Langoliers"..... allthough can it really get more worse than This?
I love Valerie Bertinelli's hair style. So light and curly cute😍.
I love it, too.
you must be 12 years old !!! this Hairstyle is plain ridicules and needed 2 bottles of hairspray and 4 hours work back in the 80's ...just to look so "light and cute "
Nice funny movie. Thank you to the one who uploaded the movie.
Everyone is beautiful in their own time. I couldn't help but to admire how gorgeous Valerie was.
I think she still is.
Exceptional... loved the story and cast...awesome movie....thank you for the upload
Exceptional ??? have you been living in a cave ??? this movie is not even ranking secoind or third or fourth ....lol
Wow THIS movie is exceptional :-)))))) .... and to think they made a movie about that deadbeat Ghandi when a story like " i was a mail order bride " hasn't been told 🙂. and what a shame no Academy award for being exceptional lol
I can't believe it, I'm loving this movie!
Love this movie especially the ending on the train!
Such a funny movie! Love the characters. Great cast!
Dated, cheesy, but yes, FUNNY! And both Valerie and the guy, Ted Wass, stand up over time as adorable! Sam Wanamaker and Taylor Holland, and that secretary, all spot on typecast!
Valerie is a cutie pie in this movie.. They made a really cute couple in this movie. Great acting
💕 it
Valerie will be cute when she's a senior. She & Sally Fields will always stay cute. They both have cute baby faces. LoL
@@annahgibbus8 She is a senior and still cute as a bug...
@@standdown4929 oh my goodness your right! Google says she's 62 born in April 1960! 😳
I'm 61 born in November 1960!😳
I don't know why I have thought all these years she's Way Younger then me?🤦
It's that cute baby face of her's
for sure 😉☺️😁👍
@@standdown4929 OMG's Sally Field is 75 & doesn't look a day over 50!
Welp I was right those cute baby faces may be a pain when you're 21, but sure pay off in the senior years 🤣👍
Valerie has gorgeous hair. The shorter haircut really looks great ⭐
I love the guy's facial expressions 😂
Wow Sam Wanamaker cool...10mins in and I'm hooked hehe thanks. p.s. love Valerie 😻💖💖💖
The short shorts the guys are wearing crack me up! Yeah, I remember it well
The beginning is like the end of The Wizard of Oz. The little old men controlling all the switches 😂😂😂
That was too funny! That scene when the valet drove his Ferrari around the bend.
Valerie was married to Eddy Van Halen. What a lot off fun they must have had. Two beautifully talented artists.
I never knew that. That's a pretty cool couple 😊
You mean with drugs and partying, that’s what they did
@@dawnmiller6899 that's what ended the marriage ‼️
Yeah no duh.
Liked the movie alot.
A love story with two attractive people.
Recommend it to anyone who has fallen in love. Sometimes in real life we do not have happy endings. This one does
Loved this movie ❤! I really enjoyed watching it!
GREAT movie LOVED and ENJOYED it tremendously 🔥🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🖤💜😍🖤💜😍✌🏾✌🏾
I loved the “Silver Spoon” trains!
I was 22 when she made this movie, im 61 now, was a nice movie, loved the ending in the train...
And I was 25 when this movie was made and my eldest son was born then..I hadn't even seen her acting or heard of her before this.. but I saw the fella who acted as her father heaps of times in movies..it was a good Sunday afternoon movie to watch 😊 I'm in Australia.
@@josephineoliver9499 Hello Australia !! I am Japanese living in the States . She was very famous in the 70's & 80's in the U.S. She really can act !! I highly recommend you to see her other movies ,too ! Especially real time crime ones she did !! Amazing jobs she did in those !! 🎬🎞💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
@@spark_6710 Hello, thanks for the tip 😊
@@josephineoliver9499 You're very welcome !! 😊 👍🙋♀️💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
I was 23 and my first child just a newborn in 1982.
A cute romantic comedy and wonderful comments...I enjoyed both..
Best movie I've watched in a long time
This movie was not what I was expecting but it was a good movie
This is something that is worth watching.
Funny when I saw the title I thought it was going to be a heavy drama; did not expect this!
OMG, I remember watching this! I was 14 when this came out.
I really enjoyed the story and her hair style loveable.
I am in total agreement.
This movie is great.
Just a fun loving film...not very together but enjoyable anyway. Thanks Irish Noreen
It's a beautiful movie to watch. Thank you.
2:02 That alarm sounds like Star Trek's Red Alert! Lol😊
"How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days"... macho man bet, womens magazine article. Loved that movie and loved this one!
Loved this movie. Thank you
I love this film can you please put more on❤️
The music in this is so comical 🤣
Enjoyed the movie. Felt like watching a Hallmark movie. Thanks for the quality upload 👌
You're right! This IS just as sorry as those lame Hallmark flix.
I like this crazy love story, regardless of what every body else thinks lol
Very cute and quite enjoyable. It must be the movie which spawned the idea for "How to Lose a Man in 10 Days." I kept waiting for them to burst forth with a drunken rendition of "You're So Vain."
Exactly what I was thinking 😉
Good movie, thank you!
Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Thank you.
Just started the movie & I'm like that actress looks familiar, but way younger Holland Taylor Charlie's mom on 2&1/2 men. She was totally hilarious in 2&1/2 men. LoL
Love this film, so funny, thank you .......
When making the salad and it says add dressing I put on my clothes 😂
The ending is an homage to North By Northwest. Nice.
Wonderful movie. And the car didn't explode when it crashed....must have been great actors.
My steady diet is mystery/thrillers. Must admit is refreshing to view a love story comedy. So cute. ❤
Love all her outfits 😊especially the bathing suits
The man at the security alert desk reminds me of the Wizard in Wizard of Oz.
That was my first thought too
Watching this one realizes how raunchy movies have become. Thank you for for uploading a glimpse back to well dressed, courteous times.
Exactly! It was such a cute movie, but the comparison of the way they dressed/acted back then is truly very very sad and speaks to how sleazy movies have become. That's why I watch the oldies.
I got a kick out of this movie, brought back memories of 1982.
The scene of them eating sushi reminded me of some American man I used to know & his RAW reaction to his very 1st experience of eating fish RAW !! Lol. I still remember to this day & feel real bad !! It was in the early 80's & he swallowed it & a streak of his tear came down on his face !! Now ,people ,especially Americans go cray cray at eating sushi 🍣 !! Here in L.A. ,we see sushi restaurants as almost as many as Starbucks !! Lol. 💜🥁🐉🎤💞
And I can't stand fish raw or cooked! 😝🤢
.
What a lovely film xx
Reminds me of the movie with Kate Hudson and Matthew mconehey. How to lose a guy in 10 days, I think that was the title.
Great funny love story!!
Cutest movie ever; love Bertenelli!
Very cute movie really enjoyed it thank you
I love this movie it's so romantic
Loved this movie
This was love/romance in a different era, bring back those days 😆
It's a movie, fake! Entertainment, not news at 11. What a braindead comment.
Great old movie, thanks for sharing...
very entertaining funny movie reminded me of how to lose a guy in 10 days which is 1 of my faves
Cute
I rode on the last run of the Pacific railroad before it was retired and became Amtrak.
Great ending on the train enjoyed the film and actors
Very good romantic comedy 👏👏👏thanks for sharing.
Turkish
Really 1982? It seems much older. So much has changed since then. But that aside it's a great movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It seems that way because the early 80s still looked like the 70s.
Lovely movie.
Loved this movie. In the times we live in, its a reminder of the times we had.
So true 👍✌️
Really cute movie!
Great movie !
Wow someone used some old props. Siren from Star Trek, horn from Petticoat Junction, and more sirens from Hogan's Heroes.
Very nice & light hearted 💗
Valerie Burtanellie is on fine piece of AAA.
I enjoyed this WAY too much...!
It’s a fun love story, too cute 🥰
Reminds me of "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days." I wonder if the writer saw this and thought let's rework it...
Very similar. I wònder if someone borrowed the storyline
Valerie is still so pretty now, at 63 I think. Her hair is an amazing asset. 😊
Super muy buena película.
❤️ is first & final goal for human being 👍
Ah, the original "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days"
Great movie,loved it.
