the game was old and it was 1vs1 combat it wasent good but there was like digimon dictionary that you can scroll. i remember reading text and learn about them
The game was essentially rock/paper/scissors on dial up internet. Assuming the other person playing could even connect... You could also save your Digimon if you had no AAA battery left. Basically a save game option in a proto-flash drive. Neither of these features worked consistently. Unless, you mean IRL connect to another Digivice, in which case it was still rock/paper/scissors. You're not missing much THB. This is based on my experience at the time of its release.
