For all the frustration and anxiety everyone has to remember they finished in last place last year. This year, at the start of the year, everyone said it would be good to see progress. Well, this is progress. If they make the playoffs it will be cake, but if not, then these games will still be important teaching moments for a young team. They are close, with a tweak here, some experience there, they are closer than they have been in years.
At the beginning of the game, when TSN showed the starting goalies, both Reimer and Andersen were at a 0.917 save percentage, so given that Andersen has posted some shutouts to keep the number there this season you knew that one of these two goalies were going to eventually put up a gr than or around their average save percentage eventually...
Nope. Reimer didn't win this game. A guy from the stands could have been put in the Florida net and they would have still won. So who cares if he gets the win? His team sure as heck isn't making the playoffs.
I put off watching this LFR in particular because I thought it would be all complaining and not worth watching. PLEASANTLY surprised. While comical, it also helps I have been a Leafs fan for almost as long as Steve and all his optimism points hit SO CLOSE to home. Well Done Steve.

Its funny because while in tampa and any actual eastern time zone in the US its EDT right now which is +1 hour onto EST. :D so lets hope they start at 8:30 pm with out accounting timezone factores and you know that it could be to late if they show up at 8:30.
