    It seems that there is more people have complications than don't. Maybe there should be alot more therapy before having irreversible surgeries that only put a band aid on the mental health problems for a short while. I hope you heal in all ways everyone deserves to be happy!

      @ReturnDaniel  2 года назад +3

      @Cereal Offender Definitely agree with deeper mental health therapy because the number of people detransitioning is growing rapidly. Appreciate your kind words and praying that people that struggle with their identity will find peace & the help they need to live free from the dysphoria struggle.

    Do you think that the huge increase we are seeing in people claiming to be transgender means that there is possibly a huge increase in child abuse? The thought is absolutely chilling, but there seems to be no shortage of broken people having children. It's such a shame we cant talk about these issues.
    God bless you Daniel. I cant imagine what you've been through.

    • @ReturnDaniel

      @ParrotGirl Tattoo Some of the men and one young lady have written to me and share that they had similar experiences. Not all people in the transgender community are abused though. My wife Patricia just told me that people that have parents that smoked tobacco and drank alcohol not only pass the risk of alcoholism on but actually reduce the hormone level of the child. I am not a trained scientist but that does appear to be an issue. What about all of the media movies in the 1980's about cross dressing? I know that that the movie Tootsie was a favorite of mine but would not care to watch it now. What about all of the media pushing stories like Bruce Jenner?

      In the homeschool group I'm in, one mom was asking for recommendations for a pediatrician that will not ask the child if they are "ok" with their gender. The fact that they are asking kids this is just insane to me.

    People thinking about serious surgery like this should take a long time to think first. Talk to a good counselor or psychotherapist before making any regrettable decisions.

      @Karla britfeld YES, finding someone that is able to ask a simple question would have helped me. "Were you abused as a child?" I might have broken down during a therapy session if the person that counseled me had asked that question.

    I think that most of the females or males are either lesbians or homosexual men who either have internalised homophobia but would rather “ transitioned” into the opposite sex, due to how homosexuals have been vilified by society.
    I’m very conflicted regarding transgenderism because a part of me says let trans people live their lives as they so wish; another part of me says how can you totally ignore biology and evolution. I have to be very careful with what I say, or how this is coming across, as I don’t want to appear mean - I’m just genuinely confused by the whole subject.
    This subject has become a very contentious over the last few years and there seems to be no way that you can talk openly and honestly about what you actually think ( I’m not referring to people who are just bigots) without being called a transphobe or having your channel shutdown because you’re genuinely questioning things.
    I’m squeamish when it comes to being operated on because I hate the sight of blood and guts, and I can’t comprehend how someone could undergo such major surgery, which carry high risks of complications, without carefully considering the risks involved.
    I recently saw this documentary which featured a female to male woman who lived as a “male” for over 17 years before she came to the conclusion that it wasn’t the panacea that it was made out to be, and now deeply regrets that she has been left with: a very deep voice, an ugly scar that is on her left wrist, a bald head and a facsimile of a penis which isn’t easy to correct because it might introduce further complications. She further complains that people often mistake her for a man in drag now. She cannot get back the feminine woman that she once was.
    Hormones are too readily available nowadays but many dare not to voice this sentiment publicly because there are strident activists that can get you cancelled for voicing this concern. Having said all this, I seriously believe that transitioning can help certain individuals but we just don’t know who they are or how many due to lack of data. But let us be very careful in what we wish for because it could lead to things that we might bitterly regret later on in life. Have a blessed day!

I now do the same surrender on the soft sofa cushions and as long as I don't take my will back, there is no struggle. One young man that went through a similar problem as I did has stepped up to lead a support group for Detransition people. That is what I call action to be a helping hand to the next person that is in pain. I know Walt Heyer has saved many from suicide by doing what he has done is this field.

      @@ReturnDaniel I haven’t watched many of your videos, but I assume you had vaginoplasty originally? Pardon if this is obtrusive, and you certainly don’t have to answer, but in cases like that, are they able to repurpose any of your original anatomy to create a phallus, or is it similar to how they do phalloplasty on trans identified females(FtM)?

    • @ReturnDaniel
      @ReturnDaniel  3 года назад +3

      @@katieandnick4113 Yes, surgeon in Thailand did a vaginoplasty in 2006. Some of the original skin tissue was used in my first reconstruction surgery in 2020 to form a longer urethra alongside a small penis. My recent surgery for phalloplasty was an abdominal flap procedure where all of the skin was rolled and then attached with a skin graft to form a nice sized penis. I am happy with the outcome as I see my process being complete in one more year with the minor adjustments that will be done.
