    How strange that the Jews in WW2 Germany were ‘jewish’ enough to be annihilated, yet not ‘jewish’ enough now to live in Israel. The double standards are disgraceful! Great video Olivier!

    Hi Olivier! This is Suzanne in Indianapolis. Thank you for this well researched presentation. I’m looking forward to future interesting videos debunking antisemitic theories concerning the legitimacy of the modern state of Israel. Shalom and blessings!

    Ashkenaz is the son of Javan who settled in North Germany. There are Jews who migrated there later. They are Jews. Saying Ashkenazi Jews is like saying New York Jew.

    God bless you Olivier. Thank you for all that you do for the Jewish people. Your explanation is much appreciated. Is there a definitive DNA marker among Semitics? I have often heard critics of Israel try to use this argument, and I was unclear as to it's origins. You have cleared up much of the confusion, and given us a historic background to enable us to respond to this form of anti-Semitism. Your videos are most informative, and always a blessing. Shalom in Messiah, from over here, in Tennessee. 🙏💙🤍🕊✝✡🙏

    I am very interested in this. Until recently I wasn’t aware of Khazaria in history. I gather these people were circumcised but I’m keen to know whether they had writings, a central worship place and sacrificial system. It interests me that they had a fight with the Rus. Also that the area is basically the same as that of Magog of the Scythians. The moment you consider that the land called Magog also has a claim to a Jewish history it affects perceptions of some Jewish literature. It would also be good to know more about supposed connections to Afghanistan.

    Hi Olivier, the Jews by flesh according to Ezekiel, chapter 16:3, and 45. And in Ezekiel 36:22 Christ, the Lord explains that he is saving Israel for his holy name sake, and as for that as a gentile, we are also saved by the same grace, for God’s holy name sake Christ is worthy of all our praise and thanksgiving.

    (Sorry for the VERY, VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be espoused)
    Kind Sir "OlivierMelnick"...I'am a Christian, but my step-Dad was a Jew ("Joseph Jacob Brodsky"); who was a "Hebrew" teacher. of Judaism words! So I learned a lot about of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Plus, Israelites and 12 Tribes: "YHWH", "Yahweh". "Yeshua" and "Messiah" *, Etc.
    So, with my Mother being a Christian; and her husband being a Jew; our house often got very LOUD! LOL! But I NEVER heard the name "Khazars". So I got on the Web just now, and it said this...
    "The Khazars (/ˈxɑːzɑːrz/) were a nomadic Turkic people that, in the late 6th-century CE, established a major commercial empire covering the southeastern section of modern European Russia, southern Ukraine, Crimea, and Kazakhstan." So now...
    It makes me to think; that there are more of "non" true Israelis; than there are, of true Israelis, etc! Like my Dad. But being a Christian for 92 yrs; I could not care. For I believe, that Yeshua IS the only true God Almighty now. Because God told His Angel, to say, "Mary" (2024 AD) you are to name the child, Yeshua!
    Finally: Kind Sir Olivier; it does not matter what they are! For God loves ALL; from "Creation"! And IF anyone loves Yeshua ("Iesus" in Greek and "Jesus" in English); they are going to Heaven soon! But, if any one does NOT love Jesus...they ARE going to hell. So, I end me case...
    ...In any case Olivier AND Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you, and yours always. AMEN!
    * Messiah means: "is a future Jewish king from the Davidic line". But in Greek: it's "Christo" meaning: "The Anointed One". And in English it means: "The Savior"!

    Torah provides a way for 'sojourners' to join themselves to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob's seed and when these gentiles fully convert, they become fully Jewish and partakers of the Covenants. Now while I do NOT subscribe to the Khazar theory whatsoever to those who do I will say... so what.

    • @stephen6520
      @stephen6520 Месяц назад +2

      Exactly. The best description I've heard on how to define "Jewishness" is its more of a family than a genetically identifiable race. Many former gentiles married in, and some outright converted without marriage. They should biblically still be considered Jewish.

    Although I cannot fully understand your explanation on this video on certain extend portion as a Chinese, I feel missing on some points and would like to have your teaching as below:
    First, even a gentile can become a Jewish when he/she become take refuge of Judaism, such as Caleb, Rahab, and Ruth in the Old Testament. Even today under the current Jewish Law! Am I right? Further the Khazars might have already been under the Judaism. Second, the actual root of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is still not so high to receive the Promised Land, or perhaps something had happened that our Lord had not yet blessed their population size to receive the promised land.
    Exodus 23:29~30 “I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee. By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.”
    Leviticus 20:22 “Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.”
    Third, we gentile as a Christain, we are waiting for Yeshua Hamashiach's return and reign in the New Jerusalem. Galatians 3:6~9” Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham”.
    So, take it easy. Let our Lord do His work that beyond our human’s ability and effort can achieve at His right timing. I don’t know my concept is correct or not. In fact, I love to lear

    I appreciate the explanation, however it seemed like we paused somewhere along the way to go in the direction of simply casting doubt on any ties between the Kazars and Ashkenazi Jews, and even doubting the conversion entirely. Can we also accept the strong possibility that they did in fact convert, and intermarried with the larger Jewish Diaspora, and are therefore indistinguishable? The damger imho, is not in tying the Jews to the Kazars, but in suggesting that some kind of genetic marker makes one Jewish, and that any tainting of that genetic heritage casts the descendents Jewishness into doubt. This "blood percentage" idea is a pretty racist invention of the 20th century, and we don't gain much by fighting racism while following its obscure rules.

      @krisjustin3884 Месяц назад

      You make some good points. Sure, they could have converted and intermarried, yet Ashkenazi Jewish DNA from Israel is very distinctive in European Jews and they have been recognized as such for centuries and often punished severely for it as well. Why the sudden turn when there’s a land dispute? They were certainly ‘Jewish’ enough for Hitler and several anti-semitic people in other nations.

    Their are 12 tribes in Isreal, but they are clueless as to who they are until Christ returns.

    • @ChinchillaMonkey
      @ChinchillaMonkey Месяц назад

      This is true of the 10 lost tribes of the northern house of Israel. All tribes have been scattered worldwide, many lost their identity in the process, but not all. The southern house is Judah, comprised of some Levites, Benjamin, and Judah. These are many of the ones who call themselves Jews today, and many of these know who they are. Not all, though.

    So the Khazars suddenly disappeared and the Ashkenazi magically appeared, but there is no connection.
    Just a coincident.

      There could have been a Khazar element in European Jewry, but the Ashkenazi Jewish DNA from Israel is very distinctive and unmistakable with Europeans of Jewish ancestry who migrated back to their homeland in Israel. Besides, how did the Europeans know who to hate during the 1930’s and 1940’s? Even without the DNA tests available today? They are Jews and always have been until there’s a dispute over land! Well, what another coincidence!
