You need to appear for JEE mains, and then register for Councling in JOSSA and if your lucky you'll get the admissions
Is there any chance to get lateral entry for Diploma engineering students?
No for now there is no lateral entry, all should appear in jee mains and start from the 1st year

It depends on what you desire for a college to be, what branch you got and what you have Intrest in
I got 91 percentile in jee main our lecturer said that it is possible to get seat in nit Sikkim or Mizoram iam thinking that I want nit that's all I will take any branch
It is safe for girls
The entire northeast Region is a very peaceful and safe place , I can't say the same for assam but other states are pretty safe
