@Mlusc82 Basically, I import the original track into my DAW, set up a situation where I can clearly hear both the part I want to cover and my guitar, and then copy it by ear. In most cases, I also use the DAW's audio stretch function to prepare a stretched version of the original track (so the BPM is around 50%, 75%, etc.). Then, depending on the phrase, I play a loop of a specific range, such as only one measure or only two measures, and practice hard until I can copy it by ear.
Most Japanese game music is not managed by a copyright group, so I have to negotiate directly with the copyright holder. Therefore, it seems to be difficult, but I would like to consider if my covers become more popular😅

The green guitar was bought second hand. I think the previous owner changed the bridge pickup. Other guitars are in their original condition.
