Can we talk harmonic structure? I liked the modulation of the verse melody from minor to harmonic (phrygian dominant?) - it creates tense! The chorus is in plain phrygian, I guess? Also a nice touch. The whole original song sounds minor to me (I don't know the original chords). The chorus melody is pentatonic, but I'm sure the verse melody is minor.

I put it on 1.25x speed and pretty quickly forgot what it sounded like at normal speed. You should re-record this at like 1.15x speed or so
