Foundry furnace ignition

After many years of working, re-working, and life, I was able to take the next step in my [David Gingery](en.wikipedia.o...) inspired foundry furnace: Lighting it!
The furnace opens/closes about 18-inches to accommodate side-access to the crucible for safety and convenience. This time I was running with a restriction-plate installed to dampen the air-flow. Based on my experience so far, I think it's unnecessary. In fact it seems like the furnace is hungry for MORE airflow :D
