A Scenic Arizona Hike: Sheep Bridge to Horseshoe Reservoir

Join us on a 7-mile round-trip hike from Sheep Bridge to Horseshoe Reservoir in the stunning Tonto National Forest. We start by crossing the iconic Sheep Bridge, taking in breathtaking view of the Verde River and surrounding mountains. Along the way, we explore the rugged desert landscape, spotting various plants and immersing ourselves in the natural beauty. At the reservoir, we witness a small plane making an unexpected landing-a unique and exciting highlight of the trip! Though we didn’t capture it on camera, we also encountered a coyote during our journey. After soaking in the scenery, we cross the bridge again and return to our campsite, completing this unforgettable adventure.
