Yes, you’ve seen/heard Melissa before, when you reacted to Unstoppable by Ad Infinitum, her main band. To be precise, Gates of Time is their first original song, not the first one they wrote together. They released several awesome covers before. Turning well known songs from movies, video games, series etc into metal songs is still their main thing. Mel & Hans said they reveal the dark side of these songs, hence the name of the band 🤘🏼🐨🤘🏼
THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON started with a bet between AD INFINITUM singer Melissa Bonny and Hans Platz, the guitarist of FEUERSCHWANZ. Whoever lost owed the other a "dare". Hans won and challenged Melissa to record a metal version of "Jenny Of Oldstones" from Game Of Thrones. From this recording, they were signed by Napalm Records and released an album entilted Metamorphis, full of cover versions of film, TV and even game theme songs, along with some original songs. The band comprises members from Feuerschwanz, Amaranthe, and Ad Infinitum. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
Their main, but not sole, focus is on metal covers of songs from movies, tv-shows and games, mostly fantasy related. As it was already mentioned in the comments, their first release was the Game of Thrones/ Florence + the Machine cover Jenny of Oldstones. There are also videos for: May It Be feat. Charlotte Wessels (ex-Delain), Lord Of The Rings/ Enya cover, Double Trouble/ Lumos feat. Rusanda Panfili (violinist from the Hans Zimmer live show orchestra), Harry Potter cover, Legends Never Die, League Of Legends/ Against The Current cover, New Horizons feat. Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie [you've reacted to their song Rebirth]), original First Light (feat. Rusanda Panfili who doesn't appear in the video as it is compiled of footage from their first 4 live shows, supported by Ad Infinitum's bassist Korbinian Benedict). Melissa Bonny was guest vocalist for Feuerschwanz in 2020 on a cover song titled Ding (Thing), original by the German based multi national dancehall/ reggae/ hip hop group Seeed, this led to the legendary bet to which we ultimately owe the founding of TDSOTM. She returned in 2021 to feature (along with Thomas Winkler [e-Gloryhammer, Angus McSix] & Alea [Saltatio Mortis]) on Feuerschwanz' cover of Warriors Of The World United (original by Manowar). Fabienne Erni was guest vocalist for Feuerschwanz too, on their song Bastard von Asgard. Jenny Diehl, the harpist of TDSOTM, is one of Feuerschwanz' dancers/ stage & video performers and was guest musician with her harp on a few of their songs. The only time she plays it in one of their videos was in Hier Kommt Alex, the cover of a 1988 punk rock song (original by Die Toten Hosen) which was written for a stage adaption of A Clockwork Orange.
Great reaction! Dark Side of the Moon is one of my favorite bands. You should react to Jenny of Oldstones, May it Be, and Double Trouble to name a few. All great videos/songs.

Btw, the drummer is Morten Løwe Sørensen, Melissa's boyfriend, and also drummer of the band Amaranthe.
