Super informative video - happy we learned the differences about the '21s and '22+ cars. Glad you're willing to keep working on our tunes even though there are a bunch of unknowns - especially for my 21 in particular 😅
Some interesting insight. Having a background tuning my own Supra on AEM Infinity, there's a lot of maps in Mazda Edit, Yeah a lot of unknowns, but pretty sure you can make good progress tuning a few know maps. OEM's are pretty damn good in protections and compensations. Well I'm glad I'm getting a 2024 turbo 3. 😁 I don't plan on tuning it myself, but rather having it tuned. Can't wait on your next videos. 👍👍
Very good information to learn here, crazy how much Mazda tunes these cars relatively the same. They finally said hey this is a Mazda 3 let’s get it and different feels compared to the other cars. When I first brought my car early last year in February it literally just got off the truck a week before and the mechanic at the dealer wanted it. Me and him played rock, paper, scissors and I won it. They had a 2021 which the mechanic ended up getting and I had the 2022.
@@supermazda3 🤣🤣 Dude I’m telling you it’s almost night and day from the previous tunes I had in the past of last year. Especially when I had a friend with a Q60 twin turbo 4.0 v6 and I was ahead of him by a front bumper from the last tune you gave me.
@chrispalomeque2528 I don't know if they would do it. It's okay. I updated the software through tuning. If you're interested, email me at justin@g-sauce.com
I absolutely love my 3 turbo 2023, literally everything about it except one thing and it's so annoying (so many rattles inside, the screen, the b pillars, sometimes the a pillar as well) apart from that which I mean I'm not selling the car for that just very annoying, I love it. The bose sound system is also very nice
Damn I didn’t even know they pulled timing like that loll it all makes sense now

No worries, I will be sending those tunes as soon as my test cars return the logs

Yes, I've definitely had some great progression with this software. It has more than enough to make it keep up with hot hatches

You are very lucky 😂
I was wondering why you were so happy with such a small change to your tune. Meanwhile, the 2021 guys still wanted more 😂

Love all the information! Keep it up!
Can't wait until you get your issue resolved, I've made some major improvements!
@supermazda3 hopefully this weekend I make some headway on it!
Wow I wish I knew this before I bought my 2021 a few months ago
It's okay, the problem can be fixed
So wait, how do we get an updated ecu??? Can it be done through the dealership since 2021s act more like SUVs?

@@supermazda3 does it void warranty?
@chrispalomeque2528 it can, but none of my customers ever had warrant work issues

Rigid Collars should help. I'm getting mine installed this week. I'll make a video on it
@@supermazda3 awesome! Looking forward to it.
I installed the solid rear motor mount and everything rattles, so u don't notice it,lol. And I absolutely love it
So when you tune 2021 2.5T do you copy and paste values from the 2022 as a starting point?
No, I do not because there are tables that are missing, 2021 tune is completely different from 2022/23
🔥🔥🔥🔥
🙌🏾
have you tuned any cx 30s? mines Na 2023
Yes, NA and turbo CX30
I was happy with my 21’ before this video 😭
2021 are amazing, we have made some changes to the software 😁
@@supermazda3 Is the jb4 still necessary as well to gain the same power as the 22s?
@MatthewRose-m1r no, we do not need jb4 anymore the software has been updated
My 2021 is going in the garbage.
😂 it can be fixed with warranty work and tuning.
