Now this is the sound and voice that this Aria requires .I have not heard any baritone in decades deliver this as well as this guy does!

Really? Not being facetious. Is he a top baritone?

@@TheRoadLessChosen Florian Sempey has quite a bit of music on YT and he handles it all very well! I am especially impressed with how he sings the French Repertoire! His Zurga is exceptional and his Valentine in Faust was very good! I would very much love to hear him do Hamlet .He also does a terrific Rossini Barber and also does the Donizetti Baritone roles extremely well! He is very musical .He has a technique, musicality, agility and flexibility that is exceptional. He also has personality and charisma! If that is not enough to get to the top what is?

Someone needs to tell this conductor to calm down his little bird. Sempey has a gorgeous tone.

Un grand baryton qui monte, avec une diction parfaite et un grand sens de la comédie et de la tragédie ! Bravo !

Modern conductors need to go back and study Toscanini's economy of movement. Excess movement is distracting and artificial.

Thanks God the orchestra doesn't follow the "conductor"!
