Almost 20 years later as memories fade into dreams. I still remember this song. I may not be able to sing along word for word but the melody is unforgettable.

それくらい好きなゲームだった。
金が稼げなくて、お腹をすかして一日一個のパンで過ごして、夕暮れ時の街角で演奏して日銭稼いで。
街を移動するにもガソリン気にしたりしながら、牛乳やら絨毯やら売り歩いたり。
ようやく借りたアパートに女の子を呼んでゆったりしたり。
その街に、世界に暮らしているって事を、あれだけ強く感じられるゲームは未だにない。
ホント最高のゲームだと思う。
ゲーム内で何回も何回も繰り返し演奏したなあ。いつまでも色褪せない名曲。ここで聴くのもいいけど、ゲーム未プレイの人は絶対ゲーム内のピアノで演奏してほしい！！！ピアノが最高です。
今でも大好きなゲームであり大好きな曲です。当時懐中時計が欲しくて応募もしました。
ハズレ賞でマジョラムのステッカーと主人公とコニーのステッカーが届いたのは良い思い出です。

Yes, Irem has decided to focus on pachinslot instead of videogames. The team that made Steambot Chronicle has also left. SC 2 is just a crushed dream now.

Seems like they have acquired the Bumpy Trot IP from Irem as well. I knew they couldn't let go their franchises Kazuma created when he worked for Irem.
Meily Shen Yes, they left to fund a new studio. All engineers from Irem is now Granzella Inc. Until now they have started to make games again. PS Home is done but they also made loads of money off of mico transactions on japanese PS Home. Back then in 2011 they were 15 people but since last year they have extended to 90 people. All engineers from Irem Software Engineering Inc who have worked there since mid 90's (when they changed platform support from Nintendo to Sony's Playstation, it was new hired young engineers who have never worked for Irem Corp in early 90's) included new staff.
Me too... I wish someday someone release that game...

This was one of my favorite out of all the songs, the lyrics are beautiful and her singing vocals are perfect, these songs made Steambot Chronicles experience even more amazing, grateful for the uploads🙏🏻

I still play this game every now and then!
I can totally see this song playing out during a very dramatic and tense moment where Vanilla and Connie have a fight, and Connie admits her true feelings as she sings this song while Vanilla quietly broods, only to hear the last words.

You can do pretty much anything in it and there's always side quests to do or begin a new game to do it differently :D

I still remember those songs..
God I love this game. The lyrics seemed so awkward when playing the game, but here it isn't quite so bad. I didn't think I'd actually like the songs enough to listen to them outside of playing... But after my last playthrough I found myself humming them in the morning. O_o
yeah.....there could be a sequel, if only there were more of us....someone force the Howsers to play this fantastic game. Heck, if they can turn Red Dead into a megaseller, perhaps they can do that with this....

@tsubasa2341 it doesnt sound silly music like this is a wonderful thing! i felt the same way and am not afraid to say so! it was really nice and even the soundtrack in someplaces is beatiful! the game itself is very flexible i mean u feel like ur living inn real life! i mean i had a blast turning rich (not enough to buy the war ship) by buying the cheapest stocks and them making their price go up and them getting money from them and finally selling them! i mean i never seen a game like this!
