We don’t have to confirm our address here like in CA, we don’t need an Ammo license, we don’t have waiting periods for rifles, etc.... that’s why we need to fight now. What, the NRA sold you out? Nah, say it isn't so. According to the NRA spokesmen we should sit back, be quiet and let the process play out. We're only making it worse by fighting for our rights and not letting the NRA do it all for us. LOL I wish I could post screen shots.
This has been a hard chunk of gristle for me to chew over.
I thought the initial response by the NRA to the Vegas shooting was a clever bit of writing and gamesmanship. Later, as it became clear that they weren’t being clever but simply surrrendering on bump stocks, I had a hard time believing it. I was dismayed that ‘Hillary’s biggest enemy’, the most well known and largest firearms rights lobby was really just a shell, a front, an ally only when politically and financially expedient.
It sucks.
The moment I read their "joint statement" I knew they sold us out. I knew it wasn't cleaver. It was the NRA I grew up with, the cowardly sellouts that only care about money and power. They want your money, and they give away our rights little by little to assure they have power. If all gun laws went away tomorrow, the NRA and its fat cats with their multi-million dollar salaries would be out of work. They can't have that.

They don't even hide the fact they're pressuring the ATF to ban bump stocks. They claim it's a cleaver game only they and their paid mouth pieces understand, but in reality it's a straight up sellout. They clearly say they support regulation of all rate increasing devices and urge the ATF to regulate (aka ban) them.
Yet Mr. Colion Noir insists they really are opposed to such bans and we're all being dumb for fighting for our rights vs. sitting back and letting the NRA handle this for us... just like the NRA handled the gun control acts of 1934, 1938, 1968, and 1986 MG ban, the 1994 AWB, NICS, and finally their most recent act of treachery, their support for banning all "rate increasing devices"... also known as semi-auto's... for us.
When Chuck Schumer, Nanci Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein agree with you, there is something HORRIBLY wrong.
The NRA isn't doing anything new. They're up to their same old tricks. You can't teach a 100 year old dog new tricks, after all. The faster people wake up to this fact and the faster we defund them, the faster we can start winning the fight against our continued loss of 2A rights. #nrasucks

As a fellow Washingtonian I feel you. The rest of the state used to balance out Seattle. Seattle is growing every day. People are moving here from California and want to spread their way of thinking. I live in Seattle, I hate it, it’s getting worse and worse. Planning on heading to Arizona before too long.

The bump stock ban bill was defeated in Virginia this month. It was stopped due to the tireless no compromise fight by the grassroots organization called the Virginia Citizens Defense League. Good luck to you, if enough people join your fight you can beat this.

Honestly anything can be used hurt other people or kill, even plain old air. If every time someone does something stupid or wrong with something and we ban it as illegal. I live in the "free State of Maryland" where it is nigh onto IMPOSSIBLE for an individual law abiding citizen to get a carry permit in this "may(not) issue" state. I do not want a bump-stock. HOWEVER, IF another LAW ABIDING CITIZEN wants a bump-stock, I have absolutely no reason to say that individual should not have one.
ALL gun control "laws" are ILLEGAL according to the Second Amendment. EVERY weapon control MUST be fought against.

Hey , great video. My biggest thing is that I have no idea of who's names are involved with any of the decision making process with these supposed laws, how to find out who is, nor how to contact them. I actually live in Washington and I recently just purchased a rifle that could fall under on of these possible categories and its really not a good feeling knowing that after spending my money on something that should be a right, I might loose it, because of these greedy politicians who no longer respect our constitution anymore.

SB 6415, by Sen. Hunt (D-22), and HB 2736, by Rep. Doglio (D-22), would require “express permission” from the homeowner before allowing a CPL holder carrying a concealed pistol in a residence. Violation is a misdemeanor plus FIVE YEARS’ LOSS OF CPL. “Express permission” is not further defined in the law. What constitutes “express?” Permission in writing? Video of owner granting permission?Court affidavit? Notarized statement?

Did you catch the first amendment to the bill where they include the part of any trigger modification making a firearm being able to be fired more than 5 shots per second illegal as well?
How would you overcome evil tyrants without "assault rifles"? Assault is needed at times. Assault rifles should not be illegal--not in any free country.
If only we could scrape together enough money to get a few bills up for public vote. Including term limits and more importantly. If a political lies or misleads the people, because they took an oath, they should be held liable for perjury, making it a class C felony in doing so. To ensure a prosecutor doesn't try to sweep such a charge under the rug to protect their political ally. They'd face charges of their own for failure to comply with the law.
We are in the same fight here in Oregon with mark. They just passed SB 719 for extreme risk confiscation. They forgot to mention when it passed though that you could be considered extreme risk and lose your gun rights forever if you have even had a duii any time in your past. Also they passed it late in the year just before november so a petition wouldnt have enough time to get a repeal on the ballot.
I have been trying to get Murray and Cantwell out FOR YEARS -DECADES!!! To no avail, and they always go against me after politely and professionally asking them to please not support anti-firearm/2A bills. Fortunately I have pro-2A Representatives, so there's hope there. If there wasn't a case for term limits, this ought to be it! I haven't given up, but the two senators just don't care about anything but themselves and Seattle votes.
What they're doing is unconstitutional but as an LEO in Kansas, I don't know any agency or fellow officers that would enforce such a ban. Can't speak for LEO everywhere but without someone to enforce it, it's meaningless.

The more gun control laws the more the NRA asks for donations. I just renewed my membership with the NRA and the very next day I get a call asking for donations. I just got done forking over money for the membership and they instantly wanted a donation. Donations for public defender level attorney to sit on his hands in court and let the anti 2A politicians make up any law they please.
Join guns rights groups guys, we must stick together. Point taken on unions, I was a union steward and at one point a trustee but as they got more political and gave my money to liberals and socialists I had to get out. The same with the NRA hold their feet to the fire on our issues but if they bs us or go against our values go somewhere else with your dues.

I liked the football comparison..Sure 5 or 10 yards here or there and while they may not get a first down they have more room to punt and we as gun owners while receiving the punt may find ourselves taking it and ending up on the 20 yard line having to fight all the way down to the other end to win..Good luck with the bills proposed there..

Brother I feel your pain, you know it's going to get worse in your state. I don't know if you notice the trend, but everywhere they're doing recreational marijuana the states are accelerating their ability to completely take away your guns under harsher Federal Laws. So much for states rights.
Im from northern ontario and still cant figure this one out, it was around midnight i was home by myself when 6 punks in a truck showed up for a fight in my yard, armed with a 12 guage sawd off shotgun. Anyway i ran outside in my boxer shorts bringing my bush knife just in case. I was outnumbered so i went straight for their leader, i told him 6-7 times get the f off my property. He was drunk and incoherant, but when he said he had a shotgun there. I knew i had to end the situation before someone was killed, so i hit him with the but end of the knife. It seemed to work because by that time one of them turned the truck around and proceded to try to run me over, even backing up for another go at me. By that time they all had gotten in the truck. Not one of them had a permit to even hold a gun. But i was the only one charged in the incident. Im still trying to fight this and it has fucked my life up big time.
Its against the 5th amendment. Do NOT turn in your butts, do NOT comply. They did this with gold & silver... DO NOT COMPLY WITH TYRANNY! Theyre doing this in MA as well.

I'm a competitive shooter, I left Kalifornistan twelve years ago because I saw the writing on the wall so to speak. I am lucky in a sense that I don't have a family or a house and can at the drop of a hat just pack up and move. That is my fortune I think to be able to as they say vote with your feet, but I digress. I also let my N R A membership
expire and won't send one penny to them. I'm probably going to be relocating again in the near future. Seems to be more importance here in Washington for safe injection sites and all kind of other liberal bullshit.

Thank you for contacting my office. We may have to agree to disagree on this issue. I am in support of this bill and did sign on as a co-sponsor to the House companion bill. The 9th Circuit U.S. Appeals Court upheld a ban on high capacity magazines, stating that the ban did not violate the 2nd Amendment. You can read a story about it by clicking here. I believe this legislation is a common sense approach that aims to eliminate events where innocent people are slaughtered at the hands of those who have access to high capacity magazines.
However, you might be happy to hear that neither SB 6049 nor the House companion 2422 made it out of policy committee before cutoff and will not be progressing any further this legislative session.
