My family likes previous versions of JBL headphones and earbuds. Great video. I'm still laughing with the : "When in doubt, pull out". Great beard as well!.
Aspect of buds I'd love you guys to comment on is signal strength and interference resistance. I have some buds that I can walk around my house with no problem, other I have to be within 5 meters of my device...not so good for the gym. I've also noticed that some buds suffer from interference in certain environments like busy train stations and airports, the sound breaking up etc.
Finally, possibly some wireless earbuds for me! I like the idea of the screen. I swap from ANC to transparency a lot. With my Samsung buds, I had a widget on my homescreen for it. Being able to do it from the case would be really useful I hate touch controls on the buds you see, because I'm a fiddler, so I turn touch controls off. As long as I can do that with these (and they fit), I reckon I may go for them!
@@MANSE1712 Sadly never actually bought them! I did have some Senheiser TWS Momentum 3, but they had connection issues. If it wasn't for that, they'd have been my favourite Personally I've started just using overheads now
Hmmm on one hand i typically leave my phone on charger and earbuds case closer so this could be handy, but other other this is just more e-waste for little reward when the buds already have controls.
You guys always do a great job much appreciated.👍 Again I'm a big fanboy of JBL earbuds but I'd rather see them put the money into fixing the controls doing a better job with the Ambient mode offering HI-RES codex's using multiple driver's and some other things. The competition is stiff. I picked up the Donner Do buds from Amazon for 35$ and they sound better than the Live Pro2's which I love. I'm disappointed. 🙏🇺🇸 Thanks again.🙂
I had a Dream today (in sleep) Where these JBL buds had a SD Card Slot in it and the Audio Jack to Type-C Connectivity Feature for low latency gaming. That dream felt extremely real to me I thought these buds would actually have it But I think JBL Should do take this 2 features in condition Where Providing an SD Card Slot can make a use of the case as a mini standalone music player And Type C to Analog Jack connectivity to the case can make the case act like an antenna for low latency gaming through the earbuds just like LG Tone buds
It's an interesting idea to have a mini touch-screen display on the case. I think they need to limit it to as few options as possible though. But I'd be really happy to have the display of the battery level, and the ability to select which device(s) the earbuds are paired to *on the case.* Probably a few other options, but I think they should keep it to a very short list of options. It will feel too much like a gimmick if you're constantly scrolling past options that you never use to get to the few options which you do use.
@@DHRME - ah, that's nicer then. But it didn't sound like their case has an option to select which device the buds are paired to. That seems like it would be a very nice feature to have on the case for earbuds.
Great review. For me, I feel the price is the issue. I have no name Bluetooth headphones that are decent and cost me only $25 minus all the extras the JBL offer. Are the JBL worth 12 times more?? Probably not..
Because they were mentioned in the video... Lol. Is there a large sound quality difference between the Edifier Neo Buds Pro and the Earfun Air Pro 3? I have a pair of the Free Pro 2, the sound is good, but I find a noticeable sound quality difference between the Neo Buds and the Free Pro 2. Battery on my Neo Buds is becoming an issue. These JBL are cool for the right person, but I think Tozo did the display better tbh.
tbh, the Tozo type of display is implemented a lot in a cheap budget earbuds, weirdly, and while it could be useful to some people, i personally don't like it, because it tends to make the earbud's case look cheap, and kinda more clutter to the overall design
Thanks for the review. Could you answer this question please. Are you able to turn off the ANC completely on the JBL tour pro 2's? I dont mean shift over into transparency, but actually ANC off completely. When ive had the Bose QC 2 earbuds i found that you couldn't turn off the ANC instead you go into transparency mode and there would white noise watching movies in a quiet place. Is there white noise with these when the ANC is off? Thanks so much 😊
I think it's worth the money I mean if you think about it you paying $200 for the AirPods and they don't have a display I'd rather pay $200 and have a display from my understanding these have good sound quality just as good as the airports
I had problem with hearing during phone call, basically no sound, no mic response. On iPhone 14 Pro Max. iOS 18 not sure why. Need help. Using other apps, calling is fine
There are a ton of generic OEM earbuds that have digital screen for battery indicators. I don't know why but they seem solely limited to really cheap generic OEMs. I don't know why the functionality hasn't caught on. My first pair was a generic set with a battery display, and it could also be used as a small power bank.
The use-case of watching something on PC /TV and being able to use the EQ via the case actually sounds awesome. Especially while watching movies (yes, I'd use different EQs for different scenes). But, umm... Aren't the earfun 3 pro much cheaper? Is it really not a better value for $ to get the earfun 3 pro without that JBL screen?
What if there is an option to put sd card in the earbuds case or it has some inbuilt storage so we can listen to songs without our phone ... That would be so cooolll🔥🔥
I'm new ish to earbuds. My past two pairs were JBL LIVE 300TWS, and they both died within a year. I'm thinking of getting these when they release. Would you say these are worth the 250, and do you think they'll last more then a year? I'm not obsessed with audio quality but I am curious if these will have better audio quality then the LIVE 300TWS I'm used to. Also do you know when these are going to release in the US?
Hi 👋🏽 Please do these earbuds have bluetooth 5.3 and LC3? And also you didn't mention if they have the Google Assistant integrated like on the JBL Live Pro 2? 🙏🏽 Ps: on the other hand, at this price it will be complicated, even without looking at the side of the competition, the JBL Live Pro 2 are almost the same (no screen) for $80-$90.
Hello dear friends, Having no experience in the field of these types of headphones, the JBL Tour Pro 2 charging instructions (2 steps: Charging the earphones and then charging the case) on the JBL website are unclear to me, especially before the first use for headphones and cases. Here are my questions related especially to the first charge/use of the headphones: -from charging instruction I understand that both the headphones and the case are charged separately, and the case is a kind of power bank. Correct? -are the 2 steps charging instructions consecutive? i.e. after unboxing, I connect the case+headphones to a charger and first the headphones are charged in the case, and then the charging of the case starts, the headphones being in the case? - or after charging, the headphones are removed from the cases and continue with charging the case? - or first time the case is charged with a charger without headphones, and after that the headphones are inserted into the case to charge without a charger?? - can the case be charged from the mains without headphones in it? - when I take the headphones out of the case for the first time after unboxing, are they fully charged? - in short, please tell me the correct charging and usage steps for headphones/cases before first use (after unboxing). With thanks, Dan RADUCANU
