Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Norfolk Windmills Trust.
2023 will be a special year. We will be celebrating our Diamond Jubilee. The Trust was established in 1963 and the charity has been preserving windmills, watermills and drainage mills in Norfolk ever since.
2023 will also be a special year for one mill in particular: Stracey Arms Drainage Mill will be 140 years old! The Mill and the Marsh Folk project to restore the mill will be completed later in the year and Stracey Arms will be fitted with a new set of sails. Many thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for making this possible.
Look out for special events in 2023 and for ways in which you can get involved to help protect and promote this valuable heritage.
