+Brian Stanley A marimo ball is a rare growth form of algae, which grows into large green balls with a soft, velvety appearance. They are native to Japan where they naturally grow at Lake Akan. :)
Yeah of course! Your beta would love it! When you clean your water just remember to take your Marino out of the water and squeeze it a little on each side :) don't squeeze too much on one side or your not going to have a round Marino
"When placed in the tank for the first time, a real Marimo will usually float for a while before eventually sinking to the bottom. It won’t float again until the water is squeezed out of it. They grow slow and steady. Cool water is preferred, they cannot survive heat for too long. They are completely formed of algae, from surface to core"
Jacques.Draxler a Marimo is a form of algae. It needs sunlight to grow and good quality water. Is very easy to care and is a good addition to your tank.
+Caroline Capadosa they are growing up! They grow very slowly, but I can tell the difference. I'm gonna try to upload a video update. Thanks for your comment :)
Seijas Family son mis favoritos, pronto voy a comenzar otro proyecto para un acuario plantado y voy a usar varios de estos marimos. Saludos y gracias por tu comentario.
+Somi Umbrine Marimo start decaying from the inside out, especially when it has been covered by hostile algae or when it is too big for clean water to reach the inside. In order for it to become healthy again, the black parts should be removed. Also a bad smell is a sign of a sick Marimo.
if you got it from Wendiland you probably accepted the offer for adopting a fragile marimo along with the marimo you got. the mariomo that looks as if it is falling apart is the adopted fragile marimo, the adopted marimo comes free with any order of marimo. I follow her RUclips chanel so that's how I know lol, take good care of the cute fragile marimo! (:
+GorditosForever I'm not sure if they are growing orcnpt.. but I really like them. they do have little air bubbles here n there but idk of that's a lrpplem or not. :)
