Chucky Season 2 (2022): Chucky is back! The notorious killer doll continues his onslaught of terror in Season Two of the hit horror series from franchise creator Don Mancini. This season finds Chucky hellbent on exacting revenge against teens Jake, Devon and Lexy, as well as his ex Tiffany, after they successfully thwarted his murderous plot in Season One. While Jake and Devon encounter trouble as a couple at their new Catholic school, Chucky embarks on a whole new killing spree, crossing paths with familiar franchise faces along the way.

S3 E8 we see "Good Chucky" again as a spirit and he turned out to be evil. He was a distraction with all the other version of Chucky's for Chucky Prime to possess Jake's body. I was really hoping Good Chucky was actually good because I liked him. I thought he was cute and funny. It sucks they made him evil. Out of all the different Chucky's we've had we should of had a real "Good Chucky" too.
This show has been nothing short of amazing i love chucky but being on syfy and usa i was not expecting it to be this damn good the only horror franchise that doesnt feel like its overstayed its welcome its still manage to stay reletively good and fresh for a 20+ year old franchise

The fact that we were going to have a big scene where Good Chucky would eventually sacrifice himself at some point during the early draft of this season, only for them to trash the idea because they thought it wouldn’t feel right for them and for us the audience makes me so sad. As batshit insane as this season already was without that potential ending, it honestly would’ve been a great way to end things and cap off the briefs moments we had with this Good Chucky. Especially if it gave us more time for him and Andy to interact more than they did in the final draft.
Yeah having Good Chucky be a fake out was really shocking, and kinda was disappointing. It does go to show that you just can’t trust evil.

In an interview Don and Brad Dourif had with the RUclips channel “Dead Meat” (Episode 208: “Chucky Actually”), he revealed that he already wanted to give Good Chucky an ending where he would valiantly sacrifice himself to save someone else. But eventually, he realized he wasn’t too confident in the idea and wasn’t sure if it was an outcome that we as the viewer would’ve wanted in the end (even tho that’s definitely something I would’ve wanted to see)
@@captain_unhinged4372I think he truly was good at first after being brainwashed and then once he killed buff Chucky he got a taste of violence again and snapped out of being brainwashed. After this fight you can notice subtle hints that it’s the original sinister Chucky just toying with Jake, Lexi and Devon.
@@lejenddairy that is a good theory, although at the same time I have a strong feeling that he was 100% good the entire time, but it’s only AFTER Dr. Mixter abducts Good Chucky and tries to remind him of who he really is, which is what shifts him back into regular Chucky.
My reasoning for this is because every time we see Good Chucky before she arrives, he’s been nothing but good every time we see him, even when he has every chance to kill someone. When he’s alone with one of the kids, when he’s talking with Buff Chucky, and later on when he sees the Colonel finally arrive outside the building, he’s still very clearly innocent when those would normally be perfect times to drop the act.
I was really upset when it was revealed the nice Chucky was faking it the whole time. I really believed all that psychological torture redeemed him. 😢😡

He wasn't faking it. The brainwashing worked for a time, but then it dissipated over time
I read some fan theories that it did work but it made him bipolar so he switches from good to bad vice versa randomly.

When I was younger I was super scared of Chucky. I’d have nightmares every day for months (baby sisters made me force watch, got traumatized lol).
Anyway, I finally had a dream where a good Chucky came to my help and helped me beat the evil Chucky’s. After that dream, I never had another Chucky nightmare again.
Decades later, I decide to face my childhood fears and start watching Chucky stuff.
Things I’m finding comfort in are that Andy is a mfing G and smokes bad Chucky’s like it’s his job, and good Christian Chucky exists lmao. Nice.

They are making an appearance in the season 3 finale that was shown in a promo, that we see bald and buff chucky but we didn’t see Good chucky, so he’s either not there or the other Chuckies hid him away somewhere because they’re embarrassed of his good will nature
