I forgot to mention the Friend to Friend shawl shrug by Leslie Friend. It's also a very cozy fun knit. It knits up really fast and the color combinations are endless. I have knit 4 of them and am getting ready to start a 5th for a gift. I think you will love it.
Ohhhhh, the sweater you are wearing at the beginning of the video (lavender) looks stunning on you!! Thank you for these Christmas videos, I am loving them❤️🎄❤️🎄
This episode is so inspirational! Full of potential and “make”. Love this word which will inspire you in 2025. Love all of the shrugs. You already have quite a collection and they all look so different and never get boring. Glad James is coming home. I know you and family will be thrilled to see him. Thanks so much for #13!❤❤❤🎄
Sandy, I LOVE the idea of a shrug-along as I was already planning to do one in January to take to London in February! I want to make one that will go with my travel capsule. So perfect!
Good morning Sandy!! Cold weather here in SW pa!! I am finishing up my semester on campus so my grades are due Monday. I think I will be busy over the weekend but I will need some knitting time to destress 🎄
I immediately put Shrug Season in my cart on Ravelry and would love to do a KAL in January. I too am looking forward to a cozy start to the year, especially after my boys go back to school (university away from home) and my house feels a bit too 'empty' again. It will be a perfect time to connect over knitting. Thanks for the inspiration, as always!
Hi Sandy, can you show me your "most often worn knits?" I would find that very interesting, if you have time - I know you're busy ❤❤❤ So pleased your making mojo has fired up Jackie Rose is a beautiful person❤ xxx
I really love Jackie’s shrugs but I’m apparently not a shrug person. I’ve tried but they never look right on me. (I’ve never tried her pattern though). I really want to make that gingerbread loaf! 🌻🎄
If you listen to audio books while knitting, I would suggest Stanley Tucci's newest book. What I Ate in One Year. Stanley is a hoot to listen too and this book is narrated by him. I think you would love it since you love to cook and have new recipes.
Sandy, Y don’t u have a SBTLS KAL in Jan? That would be inspiring for both u/ur fans. Hope Eric Lutz makes a flying visit by-the-lakeside. I miss his podcasts. Hope he is doing well. Love this episode! Thanks Sandy. ❤
May I please ask about your Hobonichi that has the awesome print with a yarn skein on the cover, I have been trying to find that one, with no luck. Where did you get yours?

Yes, I've made a couple of Leslie's shrugs for gifts too and they loved them.

I may have to learn how to knit to join along.😊 Enjoy your time with James. Your smile says it all!!!❤
your shrug idea is basically creating wearable art.

I love Jackie Rose she is so talented and inspirational!!
I love your idea to find an inspiration photo to plan colors! Very clever! I would love to join the knit along and use up some of my minis .
You have a great color sense!
Ooh a knit-a-long would be so much fun!
For sure I'll knit one along with you!
Love the idea of a January KAL!

The most beautiful of your mug collection✨

Will we be seeing Eric this vlogmas?
@@janericci8769 no plans at the moment.

Weird, I commented but I don’t see it. Anyway, I love Jackie’s shrugs but I have an odd body for them. (Shrugs in general) 😂🌻🎄
@@catherinecunningham7126 I think you commented under someone else’s comment. 😊
@ no doubt. lol. Thank you, Sandy.
Lol how is you body odd for shrugs?❤
@ I have very large breasts so to accommodate them, shrugs become so loose at the top. Just looks odd. I can’t wear ponchos either.

@@mistyblue5312 what is SBTLS?
@ Sandy-by-the-lakeside - should have said BTL - so sorry!

@@annkathy257 I found it on Amazon, but I think it’s also available on the hobonichi website.

Enjoying your vlogmas but there are too many adverts or commercials as you would call them, Debbie
I don’t think Sandy has any control of how many commercials appear that is RUclips.
