I use the most random trips ever and it works. Especially when dealing with a rush, they get caught every time.
On defense use random traps to be unpredictable, on attack use perfect trips to hold flank with no gaps
@@proguidesvalorant It honestly depends, for flanks you want trips that will always connect/be destroyed unless util, if its post plant or a situation where theres some time constraints or any reason to be even a little careless, having a super low trip catches a lot of people off guard
I used the same two trips on A on Pearl and they always got caught.
Low elo moment.
I've also had a few games where almost every trip was destroyed, despite being near the space where people start rushing

As a cypher player I first put a fake trip on crouch level and then put the actual one really close to the ground as it would almost be in the blind-zone and player often look around them and not on the ground for trips. This is really helpful when their in a hurry

I do the same trip until it gets predictable and when they find out, I just switch it up to plan B and it always works😂 Bros were distracted trying to find the trip where I usually put it and end up lowering their guard in time for me to peek and shoot ^^

As a cypher main, the ideal way to do it is just to get the info and play with your team. Using a trap on the flank will make it easier for you to push. When destroyed you simply look backwards and hold flank. It’s not all about catching people of guard

Here is a trick, you put your tripwire low and keep waiting, there is always a unfortunate soul that jump that wire and ez kill
As a cypher main ......i use to hate yoru, fade, sky, and raze. No one use to give respect to cypher main. But after cypher buff ........... the whole enemy team doesnt have a choice but to avoid cypher setups. Raze is still annoying but its fine i guess. I usually go for unbreakable tripwires and spam them with aeres and odin. Just to trigger them and annoy their heavy push.

I've been using that Crouch and look at the trip trick for a while now, It's pretty good for hold flank and locking down a site.

As cypher main, something that has pissed off enemy Jett players a lot is placing trips at updraft height or on top of double boxes. Jett players become free kills
Bonus, do it barely above your head to make them think they can crouch under it.
aim the trip abit lower as someone can look downward as they walk and be able to pass through the trip

Here's a tip,
The "Crouched head hight" trip is great, but easy to shoot,
Best only used it if you plan to leave a area unguarded or catch lurk or flank
I tried the two trips on a door vertically method, the enemies were very confused as to where the trips were, you could see them look left and right and be shocked that there was no tripwire there.
Only worked about 3 times total though, it was on the haven map, on the C garage door as well as B site entrance from A main and C main.
Personally I use low trips to hold site because I have 1 ways and such so if I hear them jump over it I peek immediately because their gun won’t be accurate
I’ve been using that trick for as long as I’ve played Cypher the amount of ppl who place trip right on the floor r insane
As a Cypher main, playing in Breeze and Ascent is a free kill everytime and I have both setups in site
