I have a uni Mac 60 lb washer. I just replaced the drain valve and I have power to both wires but valve is still not closing… only had 2 wires to it but does it need to be grounded? Any input would be helpful
The part of the yellow box of the drain valve, on the face where you can read top inlet, there inside there is a white rubber seal that collides with the part of the valve that moves and prevents the passage of water, I need Look for the seal to replace it with a valve. What will be the part number? I have seen that the black ones (mdb o 3)have screws and you can disassemble the face where the seal is, the yellow ones(mdb 0 2) are smaller and it is the seal that I need.
1 problem you have is the drain valve is in backwards and upside down ! Debris is going to hang the gate valve up and break it off again ! The overflow port goes up and the gate seal goes to the tub side not the drain !
Hello. I have a Uw 60 lb Uniwash..The machine works fine until the hide spin cycle. It ramps up to speed for a short time then slows down. It does that 3 times then the forward light and reverse lights light up like it normally would ( but drum not turning) then shuts off like it’s done. So the clothes never spin out completely.
Our UniMac washer won’t finish the cycle. It will trip the breaker when it starts drain & spin. Then it says WATER on the screen. How can I reset it or clean the error code up?

Question: when the machine aborts the cycle and does not drain the water, can it be the valve as well?
Do you know where I could buy the white seal for that valve and what the part number would be?
I'm not sure what white seal you are talking about. You can send me pictures at facebook.com/grimrepairs

Thanks! It's been going good for years now, next time I am in there I'll flip it around!

If it trips the breaker, it it sounds like you have a problem with something in your high-speed spin circuit.
Hey my unimac uw35 is saying EMPTY evrytime its about to drain and go to a spin cycle. What do u think this could be ???
I have to manually set it back to the spin setting so it can spin
