In any enterprise environment I have ever worked in, each floor and building within a property is considered its own floor plan envelope. I doubt that will ever change because AP coverage through a floor is only something a DIYer on a shoestring, 'good enough mentality' would ever consider best practices while in the real world of IT, you'd get laughed out of your job and into the parking lot.
@@FirstLastOne In the real world of IT, you have to consider signal coming from other levels, to avoid conflicts and channel overlap, so this would be critical in the platform, to be quite frank.
Great Video as always, I Still don't understand how they don't have a 42U or custom-sizing rack ability... I also don't like that it barks when you select a product that is out of stock at the Ubuquiti store... who says I have to buy from them when Disti has more in stock than the U Store does.
Ubiquiti might make separate floor plan layout to tie in the wired network from floor to floor risers/trunks. AP coverage would NEVER be calculated through a floor because it won't be stable or accurate.

How do you use this for a 2 story home to make sure you have appropriate Wi-Fi coverage?
As of right now, I don't think there is support for multiple levels.

You can use the "Tunnel" option to link floors

Another vote for 2 story setup. Also how accurate is the WiFi map?¿ Can i just use that to estimate how many APs?¿

2:39 The shopping list seems a bit broken, 3x HDD for only a single DMP 😳
😂 ya probably need to add a nvr
I can’t seem to add equipment to the rack. It just wants to float in space. Anyone else notice this?
Frankly, you won't see me take a pee on a stick anywhere in a building. 🤣😂😆
Netally aircheck is awesome.
...for those who can afford it.
