Oh how I love this. Love the comradely. Beautiful sound. I am a potter living in the middle of nowhere Colorado. Love this studio. Love your pottery video with Guy
I loved watching every second of the video of you and Rajiv doing pottery together, and am delighted to see you’ve got a few videos of you guys singing together. This is truly soul nourishing. Thank you for sharing.
That’s really quite something...it’s also led me down the winding GooglePath of frailing, Scruggs and other mysterious terms. Five seconds ago I thought clawhammer was well, no idea really but now I understand. It’s an education!
The early banjo was played in an African style called Stroke Style that evolved into Frailing and or Clawhammer .. All three are methods of striking downwards on the strings to sound them unlike the uppicking of Bluegrass music.. It is interesting that Maybelle Carter played banjo before guitar and may have incorporated clawhammer as her guitar vamp move besides picking the melody with the thumb (and a little index finger working both up and down as needed ) SO our methods for hitting the strings of the Guitar and the banjo are related .. All of it comes back to the dancing of the time ...Very few people really get what Mother Maybelle was doing .. I think Rajiv is really getting it ...
Is there anything that Rajiv can’t do?? This was great! You both look like you’re having fun!
Fantastic!!!😆🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. More of this please!!!!
Top work ❤❤❤
