Glad I stumbled on this. I graduated at UGA after leaving New York. Went back to NYC to work and moved back to Athens after 9/11. Been here 20 plus years, have seen all of the spots at least once...but it's been a while. This video has motivated me to get out more and enjoy where I live again! Thanks so much!
I was in Athens this whole last week. The bar they were playing the video games in was a must visit. It's called the Wonderbar and the bartenders were twins and were great hosts. The man playing the sax in the vid was also super nice and we hung out with him a few of the nights we were there.
Ive been binge watching your content and it is truly top notch... keep going! Youre sure to grow wth perseverance !!! I really love and appreciate your content 💕 ✨️
What’s the culture for 40-60 vs 20-30? Love music but thinking it’s overwhelmingly a college town, and it may be overwhelmingly young. What are your thoughts?
I've been wondering the same but really, have no doubt it's gonna be pretty good for a town of 130K. Museums, recreation, hike & bike trails, plenty of local restaurants & shopping, brewpubs, & how universities always cultivate culture for ALL the locals.
Farmer's markets, artist markets, blueberry patches, art museum, guided historical tours, a million coffee shops, parks and trails, great restaurants, sport events, ballet, theater... you name it, it's here!
2:02 that’s us at Normal Bar. Awesome shots of us and Ashes to Omens

Glad i found you on a search for my first show at the Georgia Theater in November. Lot of good tips that aren't party centric.
