The reason why it doesn’t do much damage sometimes is because the explosion affects your legs so if your legs are safe, the creeper don’t do much damage. That’s why if you place a block in between yourself and a creeper it doesn’t do much damage.

The reason why the creepers don't do any damage sometimes is because the explosion needs to hit their feet to deal damage to them, otherwise damage dealt by the explosion is minimal or no existent.

When you find out a strat with random kits and no one is using it, 3 days later some people are using it, and a week after a youtuber ruins it -_- bruh
Bruh he faced miserly one due, crushed him, then miserly found out and used it on him a couple duels later. This is some good worldbuilding.
This has existed for a while, someone was using it in the last golem video had someone using it, and they were nicked as "not op at all", you killed the creepers with flame sword

ive done some testing and it seems that if youre behind a block, ANY block. even its only one block, you can take less than one heart of damage from a charged creeper. If you have direct sight of the creeper then itll do all of its damage. (btw charged creepers can kill full prot diamonds)
It was impossible playing sw duels befor and thats why I quit for classic and now you make the main problem even more relevant

the reason it sometimes makes them lose no health is that your hurt hitbox is on your feet and if you're 1 block lower than the creeper you take no damage. it's the same with all explosions.

this one shot creeper thing has been a thng for a long while,, i use it whenever i want to get on the win streak leader board, is busted af and makes people angry
creepers wake me up at night, i see one then i get Vietnam war flashbacks.
Considering how terrifying 2b2t is with crystals and how they do the same damage, I feel like this should've been found earlier or that people are just sneaky

When you said this kit is good against hackers you're 100% right, I spawned a creeper next to a fly hacker and he died really quickly

Water blocks explosions and explosion damage so if they water themselves, they won't get hurt. Still op but just explaining the 'bug'.

for exploasions if they cover their feet then it does like no damadge because the place that takes the most explosion dmadge is the feet so thats why it only one shots sometimes
The explosion does the most damage if it hits the lower hitbox. If it hits the head, it does like no damage. That's why the damage is so inconsistent. To counter it just place a bunch of blocks

This is because explosions in Minecraft are calculated based on the position of their feet.
If a player has a block between them and the explosion, they take way less damage. Same if they're a block lower than the explosion.
Creepers have always done that much damage but not many people realized it
social distancing with creepers
fun fact, if you combo this with monster trainer you can do this damage from across the map by throwing the creeper to peoples islands as they are looting or something

Either its a bug or they run away or place water, probably the third one
Charged Creepers do the same damage as End Crystals, and we all know how broken those are.

WELL
The way explosions work in minecraft is that almost all of the damage is taken by your legs, so by simply placing a block the entire strat is ruined.

The golem kit is better because the creeper doesn’t always do the full damage and the creeper dies in like 3 hits while the golem always does 5 hearts at minimum and never dies
