Hi! My name is Abby Saliba and I am a student of Dr. Kozicki's. I found this video very interesting and insightful about ageism. I enjoyed the interviews within the video as they provided different views and experiences to contribute to the idea of ageism. I have not realized how much this goes on in the community and society as a whole until watching this video. I do think that the older generation has so much knowledge and wisdom to lend to the generations that come after them. As a society we need to focus more on speaking to these older individuals with more of an open mind for what they could teach us!

Hello. My name is Kristianna Mikha. I am from Dr. Kozicki's health in the community class and I enjoyed this video about ageism very deeply. I never knew ageism was a huge occurring issue in the world and it was very insightful to learn more about ageism and how it certainly affects older adults. I loved hearing other students point of views about ageism as well and how they feel about it. The older generations are more knowledgeable than the younger generations and we can learn from them and we should be appreciating them for their insight of the world and ask them for advice about life. I really enjoyed this video and will definitely be more aware of ageism in the future.

Hello my name is Dania Mackie and I am in Professor Kozicki's health in the community class. I enjoyed watching this video and definitely feel more informed and aware about the topic of ageism. Prior to watching this video, I never realized that those that belong to an older age group experience this type of discrimination. I find it very upsetting that people have to go through this just because of their age. I think that if our community collectively associated cultural competence with ageism, we can all work together to help eliminate the issue of ageism.

Hello my name is Katlynn Strnad, and I am apart of the Health in the Community course taught by Professor Kozicki. I found this video to give eye-opening insight on ageism. I was able to gain a new perspective and definition on what ageism truly is. I believe that if we become more aware of what ageism is, we could be able to gain recognization and challenge this ideology. I disagree with discrimination and find importance in advocating for each generation, specially the older generation as they add value to lives.

Hello, I'm Sofia Ibrahim, a student of Dr. Kozicki's Health in the Community course and was enlightened by the topic of ageism, as it should be more prevalent than it currently is. It often times goes overlooked and we see younger generations not always giving as much value as they should to older genrations. It just goes to show that aging is a part of life, but it is also just a mindset. You are only as old as you think you are and your physical appearance does not correspond to your competence.
